omnia_lover, 12 Jan 2010i prefer using pwnage tool its more suitable in jailbreaking rather than the blackra1n..blackr... morethanks for the reply by the way pwnge is for mac user only right...im using xp do you have the links how jailbreak it using the pwnage...thanks in advance
Setsuka, 08 Jan 2010Well we got a jailbreaker here.. Anyway what's your choice, pwnage tool or blackra1n?i prefer using pwnage tool its more suitable in jailbreaking rather than the blackra1n..blackra1n only supports a tethered jailbreak. This means that once jailbroken you should not let your battery die. If it does die you will need to reconnect it to the computer and use blackra1n to boot it..btw regarding the black omnia edition i have one i've been using it for about a year now,no problems at all..its 16gb with 8gb micro sd included in the package..jin if you're worrying for your iphone's security you could try i-hound..its a application that traces your iphone once its stolen..and regarding the lock issues the previous updates already fixed it..even if they try to connect your iphone to computer it wont be accessed as long as your device is locked..
Well.. this phone is not bad as other users say... Maybe it's just not their phone of preference. It is not the right phone for them, so they claim they just spend their money for this worthless piece of shit..
Php 17K or less for a phone like this, is really worth it... Been using this for almost a year now, and this phone provides everything I need. Laggy? well maybe its just a memory management thing, there are built in utilities for this...
I recommend this phone for Techy people... or rather the OmniaII
David V., 11 Jan 2010Is this phone really as bad as users say it is? How come it seems that most of the Omnia users... moredo not buy this phone...if you have the money you better go for omnia II or omnia HD by the way the black version here is 17k i think its 8gig only if im not mistaken its 16 but anyway the price is still ranging from 17 here in philippines...
Is this phone really as bad as users say it is? How come it seems that most of the Omnia users of last year have since moved to using the iPhone?
Does anyone know how much this sells for now in the Philippines or in Singapore?
Is the "All Black" version still in production? I'm seriously thinking of getting this phone as my first touchscreen phone...
Setsuka, 08 Jan 2010Well we got a jailbreaker here.. Anyway what's your choice, pwnage tool or blackra1n?sets i have a question......i watch some video regarding bypassing the password key in iphone...is it true that if you lost or stole our iphone even it has a passkey they will automatically can manipulate all th stuff inside out lost iphone...did the apple do something about this problem?!
why i cannot receive arabic charactics?
what i will do?pls help me.thanks
How do i change the phone function from french to english,,,,,i just bought the phone...
Bought this phone in Russia - Samsung are pushing their products hard here and i picked up the Omnia i900 (called the "Witu" here) for 280 pounds (GBR). I've had it about a week - impressed. The interface is ok but i've replaced it with spb mobile shell 3.5 (far better). No complaints so far except perhaps that using the internet, sat nav and gaming tends to cain down the battery (to be expected). The camera is decent but performs worse in low light - to be expected. The other annoying thing is that you can't delete the preloaded apps the device comes with - unless you want to reinstall a new ROM which could mean destroying your phone! This is not a music phone - some decent features and players but no standard headphone jack...you need to use the adapter - not perfect. Mp3 quality is ok though and you can plug in a decent pair of headphones via the adapter. Might keep using my ipod classic for music. Storage is excellent - 8GB on mine plus upto 16GB SD. One advantage of this phone over the iphone is that it takes loads of formats (audio, video) without needed to convert.
its been about one year now since i got this phone.wish i had never paid that money in the first place.
gets slow when u receive 3 or 4 sms msgs
bad display quality
the battery needs to be removed n put back in sometimes when u wanna recharge or it wudn get charged
no official win 6.5 announcement

Jin Madera, 07 Jan 2010syempre 3gS sets hehehe this is my first time to have an apple product i hope this iphone sati... moreYes there is a way to trick those apple guys,we could always put iPhone back-to-jail :P again, but the security issue is some concern to me,i'll jailbreak it after a year and the package deal is off, meanwhile that free 750Mb per month for a year is a luxury to have, here i must spend $10 a month for only 300Mb data if i'm using regular package.
hey guys who have a omnia i recommend a good game for your phones..its called Zenonia and you can download it in omniahub.com..its the best RPG game for your device..and btw to jin at setsuka if you jailbreak your phone most of the apps can be downloaded free but the only prob is the warranty..i have a iphone (2g) for about two years now with 150 apps (i jailbreaked it),i enjoyed using it every day and i just updated it to the latest version so i can have almost all the function of iphone 3g like copy, paste, landscape mode in sms and etc..if you have a question for iphone feel free to ask me..thanks dudes..
Setsuka, 07 Jan 2010Not really Jin,because : 1)During warranty,i have full guarantee for hardware failure, also ... moresyempre 3gS sets hehehe this is my first time to have an apple product i hope this iphone satisfied my needs anyway i watch many videos for jailbreaking and i think i will not jailbreak my iphone for the sake of one year or maybe 2 yrs warranty to apple but i found out that theres a chance of jailbreaking it without losing the warranty...have you thought that sets?!
Jin Madera, 06 Jan 2010gudluck with the wiki...my iphone will arrive in march too bad 2months more to have an iphone.... moreNot really Jin,because :
1)During warranty,i have full guarantee for hardware failure,also a package for free 750Mb data,free 100 MMS,and free 100 email for a year,no can't risk losing the package.
2)Read in some posts, jailbreaking gave security hole in iPhone, there're ways to install firewall and antivirus for iPhone also ways to tighten iPhone's security, but there's no way to completely hide your credit card number for iTune activation account.
BTW,what's it gonna be,3G or 3Gs?
