I am not complaining about the battery life simply because for a phone of this class, the battery life of the i900 is decent. I'll search for imitations and try them out. Just pray that it won't blow up my phone LOL

Hey guys, i have a BIG problem... i dropped my phone while it was charging.... and now the charging block is buggered... each pin that connects to the pc board is broken.... so now i cant charge,use the usb port, or use the earphones for my phone.....
i managed at least to get an external battery charger and a spare battery... so thankfully i can still use the phone...PHEW...
but my question is... how can i update the firmware, without using the usb? is it possible at all?
on samsungblog.co.za there is the latest firmware available, but they say u must use the usb...
is there no way i can put the update on my micro-sd card from my Computer, then install it on my omnia once i put the micro-sd into my phone?

Shadrach, 01 Oct 2009I just bought the silicon cases for the omnis (hard and soft). I like the hard case better be... moreyeah you`re right the only downfall of the soft siicone case is that its a bit loose..but what i don`t like with the hard case is that its hard to press they keys on the side but it really looks good on our omnia..btw just went to sm cubao 2days ago there is also a fone twist branch there on the ground floor..they already have a cyberzone there..

LOLactually im thinking also buying a class A type of batt but i never give a shot because that time my omnia is a one month old so i want the best for my phone because the battery life span so very short i dont know wheres the problem but day by day i accept the fact that it will never last a day but now i flash it and ok na sya mga isang araw at kalahati na ang tinatagal nya...anyway when i buy my omnia i also purchase the plastic film together with the leather case which is now i dont use anymore its so bulky in my pocket takaw tingin sa mga holdaper hehehe anyway no idea about the imitations battery...

I just bought the silicon cases for the omnis (hard and soft). I like the hard case better because it's slim and fits really well. The soft silicon ia a bit loose. The only downside is that when I got to the store, the only remaining colors for the hard case are red and yellow (i picked red), then red and blue for the soft case ( i picked blue).

Now i am confused to buy that phone i don't know if it has the common samsung low sound ring tones defect and could any one advice me with any other defect been noticed during usage

I so much wanted to decorat the screen with Icons and all those stuffs we find on themes....

What about the screen, the specs says 256k (65 k final) Is it 256k or 65k?

In omnia i900, camera have LED flash and 5 megapixel. I want to know which types of flash is the best between xenon flash and LED flash ? My colleague have xenon flash phone and 3.15 megapixel. His photo quality is far far better than my omnia. Why ?

i'm in a budget and i am wondering whether to bu... moreI think you should choose the fresh Omnia,due to a year time since the released date this phone's price had significant down price,don't forget if you buy a second hand mobile phone regardless the brand no matter how good the conditions look there're thing or two that give you disappointment,as for this phone it is good and worth buying,as long as you know how to use it.
Ps : This is the first mobile phone that i reset about 10 times during my learning process but it's worth it cause i really want this smartphone's full potential to be used max.the point is patience & a will to learn.
