Lately most of the major manufacturers have hard times keeping their unannounced handsets under cover. Still when live photos of six new unreleased phones leak it is more than enough to make it on the news.
The lot is lead by the high-end Windows mobile powered Samsung i900. The slim phone features the 6.1 version of the Microsoft operation system and comes complete with a 5 megapixel snapper. It has a generously-sized 262K color touchscreen, Wi-Fi and 3G support. It sounds great for starters, doesn't it? There are even rumors that Samsung i900 will sport GPS but we cannot confirm this just yet.
Next in-line is the new ultra-lineup member Samsung U800. True to its Ultra nature it will be only 9.8mm thick and will offer a sleek full-metal body. Samsung U800 will also come complete with 3G-support and a 3 megapixel camera.
Samsung L870 is a powered by the Symbian OS which seems to be becoming rather popular among Samsung handsets recently. This particular member of the S60 family will boast a 3 megapixel camera, FM radio and 3G-support. It will come in the slider form factor in the comparably compact dimensions of 102 x 50 x 13.5 mm.
Finally three entry-level handsets appeared. Those are led by the Samsung M620, which is the best equipped in the group. It comes in the slider form factor and features tri-band GSM support and a VGA camera. The other information about it by now is that it will feature a USB slot, FM radio and a TFT display.
Samsung B510 is even more basic, swapping the display for a CSTN one. It is also missing the USB connectivity.
Finally we come to the Samsung B300, which is the only clamshell among the leaked devices. It will only have dual-band GSM support and will miss almost all multimedia features, but the FM radio.
At this stage there is no information about the availability or the pricing of the handsets so we are waiting for their official announcements in the upcoming weeks.
