Just called 800-SAMSUNG about the availability in UAE.
What a shocker.
The Lady said it was supposed to come this week but is delayed by 2-3 weeks.
It might be 1st week of next month before it is available here in Dubai.
Too Bad...
Still gonna wait though....

Just a few questions can I charge the phone via the computer from the USB cables supplied with the phone also if I buy a spare battery any delay is due to tricky removing and replacing the back cover. Can u silence the phone by turning the phone over, if so is that a reject call or just silence the ring. Thanks
Specs do suggest it's a beast of a device... wondering when will it launch in India and what will be price...

I found the battery to last a day and a half with power saving mode enabled but maybe I can get more out of by conditioning the battery. I admit I was using wifi a lot and have push email with gmail enabled all the time though. Some say removing samsung hub will save battery life as it always checks for updates so may give that a try.

Have you noticed any burn in in your screen. Because if you have then i will rather wait for the galaxy s II's SC LCD variant & lose on the deeper blacks and the sharp contrast of the AMOLED screen. Thanks in advance.
