Ha ha,u say Intel lacks experience that companies like HTC & Samsung have,I doubt that considering the fact that Intel supplies almost all chips used by any PC(Desktop,Laptop,Netbook) on this planet.
Intel & Meego is just a bad combination for other players on the mobile sector.
Coming to the mobile phones, their new Medfield SoC out-perfomes other processors on the bench mark test.
'Using a synthetic Linux Benchmark (likely quadrant) a score of 6389.62 BogoMIPS was achieved. Comparatively speakaing, Tegra 2 on the Optimus 2X manages to get a score of 2391 BogoMIPS using a similar synthetic test. The caveat here is that the test on the Optimus is not optimised for multiple cores. However, even if you assumed a generous improvement of 2 times the single core performance, there is still significant headroom as far as the Intel chip and raw CPU performance is concerned.'
A good smart phone has to have at least powerfull processor &flexible OS among other specs.
The specs on Samsung Galaxy S2 are O.K,but the OS is not flexible. On a flexible OS,u should be able 2 run anything u want & that not the case with Adroid which has limitations.e.g,on yo normal PC u can download & install any program u want right, but on these Adroid phones u only download &run Adroid apps-limited to that ecosystem,u may say it only a smartphone, yes maybe what i want is a mobile computer, one that can jump 2 any ecosystem with no limitations. This is where linus/Meego comes, with Intel u have a full mobile PC device that perfomes beyond yo expectation.
Which is the better, the Samsung Omnia HD or the Samsung Omnia II? I think that this is a good question. I heard that the Omnia II had some speed problems, it lags a lot. The Omnia II has more CPU, but if it lags. The OS-es are different.
on the plus side is it me or has someone @ Samsung got a sense of humour see pics camera u woulds expect to see 8MP but this is 8 & MEGA. Mega being a statement as well not on wave or wave 2
on the negative side SGS2 2nd dual core (atually triple core, what did the SGS hav for breakfast... Apple)
??? going to wait for quad core later why ????
sgs2 need 12mp why???
ed123 thats why samsung is a multi national company and WE are buying their phone.
we are talking nano seconds and for what games
95% foar a reason
Just awesome. & why do u need HDMI in this bcuz others have. Oh c'mon man, think again
Hopefully tegra 2 dual core will come to USA instead of there crappy exynos dual core. At least that would closer to omap 4 in speed and graphic.
Gosh why cant Samsung get it right! all they have to do is put omap 4 dual core with ddr2 ram like optimus 3d. raise the res to qhd like Motorola. If it weren't for the thinness and Superamoled plus display, i would have gotten a Optimus 3d. Only Samsung can build a super phone with there superamoled display(once you go superamoled, theres no turning back)
Samsung explain Super-Amoled-Plus

'Nokia will announce a Meego phone this year!'
Lost all hope in Nokia products, they say they'll announce a Meego device, that most likely 2b a tablet instead of a phone, coz now they don't want competition 4 WP7.
Besides, even if they release a Meego phone, they'll make sure it's not polished i.e full of bugs & problems so that those who ever gets it & review it will conclude Meego is just bad.
I decided 2 go 4 Intel & Meego, this way i know i'll get the real value 4 my hard earned money.Intel is well proven in the PC world,& support 4 their Intel Meego phones will be the best.
Intel & Meego - makes me happy.
