AnonD-1578, 14 Feb 2011nice phone, the only bad thing is the type of processor... galaxy s was an arm cortex, with tv... moreEVERYBODY WTF!! HDMI IS MENTIONED!! AND THE PROBLEM IS THE CPU???!! WHAT THE HECK!! The cpu is 1GHZ dual core and one of the best. Also the gpu is capable of supporting(if the phone had it)two HD screens while simultaneously supporting an external HDMI screen. So what the hell is wrong with this cpu??
WVGA??? Common Samsung its your flagship Android phone and you are giving O....LD WVGA resolution.
it's one of the best smart phone as any one see this knows that the technology have a very high speed that no one could imagin this phone about 3 years ago.
But why isn't it a bit more beautiful like i9010
i think that i have to wait for its fashion style.
Where is apple?
can any one see apple?
i loved apple but as i see this phone i can't even think about iphone 4.
Yeah, this has a 32 GB version too! I told you guys yesterday that the Galaxy S2 could have 2 versions. :)
The Specs of this phone are amazing! However, When I had my Samsung Galaxy S (i9000), I was very disappointed to find out that Samsung was no longer supporting it or coming out with an upgrade to android 2.2. Samsung tech support is a pain to talk to and Samsung Kies is a pain to use. Also, The Samsung i9000 could only video call other Samsung galaxy S users only and over wifi only (unless a third party app was downloaded)! I'm leaning more towards the Motorola Atrix because of my experience. Still can't decide between the two though. I hope the Galaxy S II will have better support to avoid experiences like mine.

I don't see any mention of USB OTG on the Samsung site.
AnonD-1319, 14 Feb 2011it has HDMI out look again in the specs sheetI don't see it in the spec sheets on the Samsung website, only the GSM Arena specs had it and they always make mistakes.
Also I watched the hardware video hands-on by MobileBurn and the only ports they mentioned/were visible were the micro-USB and 3.5mm headphone ports. If it does have HDMI out it would have to use a micro-USB -> HDMI adapter.
Samsung and Google are really good at one thing... copying Apple in every small detail and then improvise on that. Well..camera focus has shifted from imaging to video recording (i would prefer if imaging was given more preference). hardware wise nothing to complain.. has everything other than the fact that it still maintains its cheap plasticy finish.
a stellar device no doubt as a smartphone and for the possibilities that can be explored.
markoko, 12 Feb 2011Is this iPhone or Samsung.. :( Good specs, bad design. Are you out of space man ....iphone it is NOT the first candy bar and touch screen phone ...do your home work ....
why samsung not keep the 4" display like gt i9000...the 4.3" made this phone become very wide..dislike the design..
video calling on 3g network supported or not if supported why not mentioned in specs provided???
