Software virsion 2.3 .3
Anonymous, 24 Jan 2012Had this for 1 month now, and it havent hanged up on me yet. And i would suggest to upgrade to... morethanks man took your advice and upgraded firmware to XILA2 2.3.6 via odin on xda. battery life has increased a good 50% and I was getting a day and a half already with heavy use. hardly use my laptop anymore. Can't wait for the SGS3.
what, 26 Jan 2012If you have confusion regarding (Samsung Galaxy S2 GT-I9100 & Samsung Galaxy S2 GT-I9100G)... moreThanks for the link, I now know the difference between the i9100 and i9100G and I'll make sure I'll get the i9100 but in a white colour though.
It seem that I9100 fare better compare to I9100G, if price of both units is the same then I9100 should be a better option since Samsung improved the I9100 I/O, 3D performance and battery life with the latest Android firmware ver 2.3.5. But if short battery life is your main concern and you don’t want to mess with the firmware update thing then I9100G should be good enough for you. On the other hand, if you are some hardcore gamer and like to play with the custom firmware and kernel modification thing then you should try to get the model I9100 instead.

Does anyone here have the white Galaxy S II I9100? Or is the white Galaxy S II only available as the I9100G? I'm asking as I've read that the I9100 and the I9100G are not the same, they differ with the specs a bit like the GPU and the Data speed (21Mbps vs 7.2Mbps). I am planning on getting the Galaxy S II in white next week but I want to make sure I get the right thing.
Hi Rahul D again...
Please suggest as the display of my phone (Galaxy S II I9100) has gone pale yellowish... How can I get the original color back on my phone.

quincy, 25 Jan 2012hi guys, i am planning to buy this phone.next week. but i have few question.
1. the 1.1gb out... moreHi...
It doesn't necessarily and always mean that there's only a gig allotted for apps... you can always have other means to transfer app to the the remaning SD space.
I'm from Philippines and I upgraded my s2 to 2.3.6 just recently.. (I bought my s2 last nov 2011 with stock 2.3.3 gingerbread)
I haven't used Sensation XE but based on others' reviews, s2 is better, or BEST!... and I may say that It really IS, overAll perfomarce-specs-wise!... once you buy this beast, then you'll never gonna put it down, EVER!
This is the best phone i every had. I recomended, ther is no lags and every thinngs run smothly. If youdi=ont play games battery life is 3-4 days. Display is brilliant. Loudspeakers could be better..
SGS II is worth your hard-earned money. You'll enjoy the experience given by it's GPU, CPU, and OS. I recommend it 9.5/10!
