Two fingers will do! Three are the most you need but seldom.

hey guys..i'm new with ndroid. and i also experienced short battery life, and i've read here that if i'm going to upgrade my 2.3.3 OS to 2.3.5, there will be a vast improvement of the battery life. hence i tried, but when i use Firmware Over The Air upgrade (FOTA), it says no update available. does it mean that the update is not available in my country yet? if so, is there a site for me to download the firmware and update my device?
thanks so much
planning 2 buy agalaxy note, woth dumping sgs2.......is that a good decision? as all i want is best mobile experience, looks and battery life.....
AnonD-252, 04 Dec 2011A little "tips" to remove that annoying battery full notification.: *Rooted only*... moreIf you want to remove the startup-sound then rename the .ogg and .wav under -system-/-etc-
A little "tips" to remove that annoying battery full notification.:
Use ES file explorer, (I use Root Explorer):
1. First mount the file File System so it can be edited (through menu -> settings) (in Root Exporer press "Mount R/W")
2. Browse to the root folder -system-/-media-/-audio-/-ui-
3. Rename the file TW_Battery_Caution.ogg to e.g. TW_Battery_Caution_old.ogg (You can rename any other sound you do not like in the same way)
This results in the full notification not being played upon a full charge, without setting switching profiles.
4. Unmount the root folder in ES File Explorer settings
So far, this has not given me any side effects (besides a good night's sleep).
