Straight to the point and you use language that are not technical and easily understood by most readers. I'm really thinking of buying this phone...and it seems that the drawback is only the battery life. Anyway, thanks for your time in giving your outstanding review. Cheers!!
if the phone lost, can u tracked it? is there's any phone tracker software?
Just Bought Samsung Galaxy S 2.I Moved on to Samsung Galaxy S 2 after using an iPhone 4.I don't give a s*** about the cold war between iOS and android really, I'm just a Gadget fanatic and I'll just share my experience:
-The 4.3" Screen is beautiful...Very sensitive and accepts the Slightest of touches (You should not expect anything less from a High-end Capacitive ).The Color contrast is good and deep.Viewing angles is Really good,It works great even under direct sunlight. You'll love watching Videos/Movies.Does not give you the sharpest imaging, though only to the point where you wont even bother, or in my opinion you would probably not even notice. so thats completely Ok...
-The 8MP still camera is Good.Produces some decent Pics, but the performance drops down very badly in low lights which results as very noisy pictures.
-The Camcorder is ofcourse capable of recording true HD Videos. It produces very good and crisp results-Detailed,Sharp etc. But again in low lights the performence drops down Badly losing datails, and adding Noise.
-Ok now I am on 2.3.4 Gingerbread and "No" I dont have the tint issue,so I dont really understand what people are talking about. If people are talking about the palish whites in all of white portions in the screen than let me clear you that it is how an Amoled display looks like And no complains.I don't really have any tint anywhere on my screen not on the lower left, nor on the notification bar etc etc.
-The battery Life is really bad.By the end of the day you'd wan't to charge your phone even with moderate use,and with about 2 hours+ of heavy use it won't last untill the end of your day,or will just make it.With that Specs and Screen Samsung should have really done something about this issue.
-The loudspeaker is really bad.A High-end phone with bad Speakers makes no sense for me,and unfortunately this is my concern with all Samsung handsets, Also HTC.Ofcourse when you plug in your Headphones the results are different, that is good.
-Oh Boy !!! Samsung Galaxy S 2 is a performer. With that RAM,GPU and a 1.2 GHZ Dual Core CPU you will never ever come across any lag,I tepeat "Never".Ofcourse sometimes things malfunctions and needs a restart but you wouldn't find a phone without this issue so thats completely OK...actually More than ok...
-About the UI It's simple and gets the job done. But to be frank I don't really like Samsung's TouchWiz UI but with Android you have Options.
-You don't need to worry About Apps. The entire Android Market is yours for the taking. You wouldn't find an App/Games (HD) that a Galaxy S 2 won't run Smooth as Butter.
Overall I'd say Samsung Galaxy S 2 is a Solid phone. One of the very best in the business.Everything has its own advantage and flaws if you can compromise on few flaws of the Samsung Galaxy S 2 than it will give you one of the best smartphone experience ever. You would not regret buying This phone,Not a chance.

Engineer_Man, 28 Nov 2011Also if some people are experiencing a fuzzy looking image -> desktop wallpaper doesn't loo... moreery eager to see its 1280×720 screen. It is after all the highest resolution screen ever used on a cellphone. At nearly 315PPI it’s nearing iPhone 4 territory as far as pixel density goes. On top of that it uses Samsung’s Super AMOLED technology which ensures the deepest possible blacks and eye popping color saturation.
However what many though Samsung might have forgot to mention is whether the Galaxy Nexus carries a SAMOLED Plus or regular SAMOLED display. Many of you might know it already that the Galaxy S2 uses the latest SAMOLED Plus technology which is basically a rearrangement of pixels on the display. The regular SAMOLED uses 2 subpixels per pixel whereas the Plus variant uses 3. This ensured the Galaxy S2 had a far smoother screen with very less pixelization. But Galaxy Nexus does not use the plus variant, which results in far less actual PPI than what’s usually denoted. For example if we look at actual PPI, the iPhone 4 has 330PPI and Galaxy Nexus has 315 which is certainly very impressive. But if take into account the subpixel density then the iPhone 4 has 613 and the Galaxy Nexus has 414. Clearly this is a massive difference in terms of overall sharpness of the screen. This means the text will still be sharper on the iPhone 4 or the Galaxy S2.
But all is not lost though, thanks to the massive resolution it more than makes up for this shortfall. If you’re happy with the sharpness of the S2, then you will be satisfied with it on the Galaxy Nexus. I suppose the reason for this decision from Samsung was cost issues. The screen technology used in the Galaxy S2 is quite expensive whereas Pentile is relatively cheaper. Also, it’s because of the Pentile pixel pattern that the 720p resolution on the Galaxy Nexus is possible.
This was more of a publicity move by Samsung because they know very few people actually know the technical part this screen technology and more will be enticed by a HD screen. Either way we cannot take away the fact that Galaxy Nexus does have a brilliant screen, Pentile Matrix or
Hey guys!! does this phone really got a battery falt? plz and thanks...
monster phone.so far so good!love it.my problem.issue with battery
Thanks guys for suggesting "No Led" app....the features and the customisability options are just great...however just want to check the impact of this app on everyday use battery life..?? I hope it wont consume much battery..!!
in device apps youtube have problem .i open somevideo but opening others video .why?
the tiny shark is one of the best apps, I ever downloaded, the second best is speaktoit!
thanks for let me know about this
Also if some people are experiencing a fuzzy looking image -> desktop wallpaper doesn't look right. Go in to settings, display and switch off the auto analyze feature. This seems to mess up the contrast of the display on the phone and the colours are also messed up, and detail is lost.
I love this phone it's a world ahead of my ancient relic Nokia 5800. Then even my Nokia N900 which I screwed up trying to fix. I spare parts btw an1 interested !! Back to subject... The pixel density of this thing is only 217 Pixels per Inche on a Pen Tile matrix. Yes Pentile is no where near as good as RGB, but in all honesty the resolution And the PPI being fairly good not excellent ie not as good as my N900 but in all honesty the the screen could be sharper. But minor niggles aside I am very happy with the screen.
Just hope the Galaxy S3 has RGB instead of Pentile Matrix... Unless it has a higher PPI Pentile, then the difference will be negligeable and would make most people happy. The phone is a power house, everything you throw at it, it just gets better.
maverick, 28 Nov 2011Hi friends,
I have a problem with my S II battery. Now this has happened twice in recent ti... moreSounds to me like you need to try a new battery and see if the problem persists. I have bought the new 2000MAH official Samsung extended battery pack from clove uk. Now I only recommend charging the phone switched off for full charging & recognition by the software when switched on by the battery sensors what capacity is being measured properly. It doesn't sound rought. I'd try swtching Power saving mode on, reducing the backlight to minimum, switching off GPS, bluetooth etc..
On the old battery on mine I can use the phone for a full day of use of all its features. I have widgets running on all seven homescreens aswell. I tend to use wifi most of the time. I hope some of my advice helps. let me know how what happens if you try some of my answers!?
