rainai, 16 Jun 20112 questions I'm pondering right now: Will SGS2 be upgraded to Android Ice Cream Sandwich? ... moreIce Cream sandwich isnt even out yet. So there's no way to tell how the SGS2 will perform. I'm sure as soon it Samsung will release it soon after but I'm sure the guys at xda will get a rom sooner if not later.
my god wat a fone dude. . . . . Recently bought it. . Its mind blowing!
it does heats up alot, 1 hr continues gaming generates heat, mine heats up also so i dont use it longer than an hour, this is really bad, my wave also heats up wen i talk long hours on it, samsung should resolve this..
when SGS2 will be avaible in saudi arabia! I am waiting for it's official release!
2 questions I'm pondering right now:
Will SGS2 be upgraded to Android Ice Cream Sandwich? And if it does, how will they customize ICS to work on SGS2?
I'm asking these questions because I'm seriously debating on whether to get the SGS2 now or to wait for the next Google phone (Nexus 3/4G).
As we know, ICS hopes to unify the phone and tablet experience and one of the biggest changes (for phones at least) is to eliminate the hardware keys (home/back/search/menu) and replace them with software implementations.
I am quite confident that the SGS2 will be upgraded to ICS once it's out. But, the SGS2 has hardware buttons, so what will the ICS experience on this device be like?
What do you think guys? Is it OK to grab the SGS2 now or will it be wiser to wait for the next Nexus.
I'm currently a Nexus One owner, by the way. And though I still love my N1, it is showing its age. Many apps now are requiring more powerful hardware and more storage space. I'm using CM7 and although I can move (forcibly) most of the apps to the SD card, I still get a "low memory" warning sometimes.

Wonder how is the performance I had use galaxy s before the 8 GB , laggy n hang most of the time very Volkswagen Scirocco in start up like preparing SD scaning every time when on the phone frzee during surfing and the phone heated up . Use iPhone before but find it not friendly user ...no flash no java ..can play most of video format can't just transfers data need to sync from I tune ...jail break break ur warranty , repair very expensive . So decide to use HTC . But wonder tis galaxy s 2 is good or not ?
Best phone i have ever used, BIG upgrade from nokia n97 mini. iPhone can't compare with this fine piece of engineering. When i''m with friends (iPhone users) and pull this baby out and it steals the show with that massive screen. Love it..
