Your complaints are general and not specific enough Here are 2 issues I can respond to from the Gsmaren review
Speakerphone test Voice, dB Pink noise/ Music, dB Ringing phone, dB Overall score
samsung I9100 Galaxy S II 70.0 66.6 75.7 Good
"The images captured with the 8MP camera of the Galaxy S II are very good – low noise, plenty of fine detail and the color and contrast are good too. Colors are a smidge oversaturated but that’s how we like them. Keep in mind that the camera has a wide-angle lens – our measurements suggest a focal length of about 30mm in 35mm equivalent"
I really don't know what people EXPECT the SGSII to do as a camera phone. The heat issue, can't comment
I don't think the problems are as serious as you make out.... I mean in comparison
its my sincere advice please do consider other options as well before buying this stupid phone

Questions., 01 Jun 2011Doesnt a phone this thin get heated up very easily while multitasking or gaming? I mean this i... moreu could be right but... it shouldnt heat up so much that u even cant hold in hand...
nah all phones get heated up similairly. its just more prominent on sgs2 cuz of its thinness. i had a htc desire and it was actually hotter most of the time but since of this thick case it feels cool in the hand. its really a thing of preference and does not affect my use at al.
Doesnt a phone this thin get heated up very easily while multitasking or gaming? I mean this is the thinnest of all so could be also the easiest heated up.
General, 01 Jun 2011Mr "The Marketer", You call this a "HONEST" update. What word in your comm... moreLost me?
I added "my opinion" based on me using the handset, I have compared the handset to 4 others I have and it is "HONEST" I do not have a brand, that's what I do for a living bud!
As for the 2 hours, read it, with normal use... which is what the phone is made for. The update is coming, so in my opinion to get the "near best" out of your $1000-1200 purchase latched or not, just wait!
Anonymous, 01 Jun 2011The negatives worry me.... Supposed to be launched today in India ... no ads at all ... hummYes, I also have the same query. It is supposed to be launch tomorrow but no news anywhere at all ! Quite surprising...don't know how long can I keep mu patience.
Guys this phone is really good, I live in the uk and have had this phone since release date.
HEATING PROBLEM: It does heat up yes but it does NOT affect performance.
Battery: The battery may be big however for me it doesnt last even 24 hours, probably the big screen that drains it.
If I could return this phone, I wouldnt because of soo many reasons, its an awesome phone.
Hope this helped!
SignSIN, 01 Jun 2011Well i know that sg2 has more adventages than arc, but im afraid of that heating... maybe any ... moreSpoke with the R&D team in NL, they said that it is an issue with the core running too fast for the phone casing when flat out, they said they are "working" on a firmware that will solve lots of issues!
NZtechfreak, 01 Jun 2011@The Marketer your unit sounds faulty to me, my camera is excellent, I don't have problems wit... moreThanks NZ, it was exchanged 10 days ago! Wish it was faulty and its not the user!
As for the 2 hours, that is using it with the factory and public release data on the samsung.tw R&D site, so if it was not used as "normal" it would last longer, which it can!
At least you actually read through ALL my thread before flaming, cheers :-)
I love the handset, just wish it did not have all the release issues, like the iP4 did!
I own this phone for a week, bought from Orange Romania. battery in use on the net (youtube) and video player does not take more than 3.5 hours. It seems like my office the laptop, last longer than 4 hours. Old Galaxy held me more than six hours. Heating, what to say, does not heat up as the laptop, but quite warm.
480x800 pixels in 4.0 inches wtf????
Even its cpu n gpu are amazing still can't beat iphone 4 wit 640x960 pixels in 3.5 inches.....
The Marketer, 01 Jun 2011This is a review of my Samsung GS2 - JUNE 2011
I have had the Samsung GS2 for over 5 weeks,... moreI do not think you have ever tried a Galaxy S2, because I have none of your problems! I guess you are just another desperate Nokia fan/employee!
The only "problems" I have is that not all games support Galaxy S2, but even LG Optimus 2X have the same problem with games not yet supporting the phone. Batterylife is far better than on my old Galaxy S and than my old Desire Z, and GSMarena made a test showing that batterylife is really good. My S2 does not overheat, it does actually not get warm at all.
