BinGo, 18 Jul 2013With 4.3" screen it has the same size as my GS2...which was considered huge when launched... moreS2 is history now... it will not be updated to future android updates like KLP. product life cycle of S2 has ended.
Learn to move on... wait for a month or two, let the price of S4 mini come down and then go for it. S4 mini is something which will keep you interested for next couple of years. S4 mini is a wise choice if you want a phone with decent screen size, super light weight, 1.5GB of RAM and almost all those features which you need in a real smartphone.
AnonD-8044, 20 Jul 2013Besides a bit more power my sgs2 is better with full super amoled plus displa,,since you spend... morethe galaxy s2 is an excellent phone,a lot of my friends are still using it,nowadays people tend to change their phones more frequently (2 years the average),so if u think that it is time to change your phone then the galaxy s4 mini is the best choice for you.
No multiwindow, only duelcore,no fullHD,highly price.... Other mistake of SAMSUNG....
This phone isn't designed to compete with it's bigger brother (Galaxy S4), it's designed to compete with iPhone 4 and mostly 5. They have reached a point in technology where the S4 simply doesn't need to be compared to the iPhone anymore. It's S4 Mini's turn to play in that league and it does so pretty good. If you compare the S4 Mini and the iPhone 5, you get similar specs and sizes. So don't complain about the fact that it doesn't have AirView or SHealth, it's not supposed to. The only thing I would notice to be a big letdown is the screen quality. Other then that, it's a great phone.
It's my dream phone. The IR thing is a cool asset that companies have forgotten these days. And the dual SIM feature enables more cost reduction on different contracts. The price is reasonable. And the size is just fine to put it in your pocket. Good job Samsung only if you could work on your design you would be the best
Besides a bit more power my sgs2 is better with full super amoled plus displa,,since you spend most of your time looking at the screen why not save a fotune and get s2?
In fact its just an updated s2 with infra red, jelly bean 4.3.2 which brings what benefit.Yes its got better chipset but my s2 is fast running jelly bean and I am using 64GB card no problem. ,I am using 2000mA battery anyhow so no arguments to upgrade..
I put this as a discussion arose on not everybody is rich,on a big wage and some folk can only dream of a brand spanking new smartphone.
Battery at 1900 mAh is too less as compared to the specs and user usable internal memory of 5 gb is too less and should have been at least 8 gb when compared to its pricing

Anonymous, 19 Jul 2013Your table says nothing. It could even be 10 mm width when 4.3' display it depends on the shape. If by 'shape' you mean the aspect ratio, then read the Post script.
And, the 'table' is followed by an inference that 'says' : "We can safely adjudge S4 as remarkably handy".
This mean that if you have phones with screens like 3.5" iPhone 3GS or 3.8" Wave 3, you can say they are much suited for one hand operation. One hand operation is mainly effected by phone's width. And S4 mini is less wider than even iPhone 3GS. Making it more handy. Another factor that effects one hand operation is the phone's weight. S4 mini, at 107 gms, weighs 28 gms less in comparison to iPhone 3GS and Nokia N9, both weighing 135 gms.
It could also be noted that S4 mini with 4.3" 16:9 screen is (almost) same in width to Nokia N9 that has a 3.9" 16:9 screen.
Only 5GB of user available space? This device is not even cheap. No way dude!
