guys personally after updating to 4.3 via kies XWUGML4.. battery backup is way better than 4.1.2.. seriously. and UI is real gme.. so smooth n fast wid sharper graphics. also gaming has become still more fun.. SAMSUNG has done a decent job this time around after all the hiccups...
Samsung s3 has a major problem of range. No use of buying ....so expensive and yet the basic feature of network range is horribly poor.

1.Yes you can.
2.You could try other 4.1.2, but if you face any imei error/no signal..only MG4 could save you.
3.I root with the Cf-autoroot via Odin.
4.Oh!! How could I miss typed that!! Sorry bro, actually it's ES File Explorer, not efs pro. My bad.
5.Yes, I managed to get backup using EFS pro as well, but I never restore my efs using that app. I only did it with the ES File Explorer.

I shave several questions here :
1.If I don't use any BTU firmware, can I use the stated method?
2.Do I MUST flash the MG4 firmware if I want to revert back to 4.1.2 ? Can I flash others than MG4 ?
3.You use which method to root ?
4.You move the backup EFS folder in the file manager or through the EFS pro?
5.EFS pro isn't an app from PlayStore, is it? It is a tool developed by XDA member and should be install on desktop computer,am I right?
I'm using the same BTU as well!!!
Smooth, less lag..battery backup seems decreasing a little bit. But I don't mind that, I'm purchasing a new battery. Been using my s3 for more than 6 months and with heavy use, I always expect that.
Hey!! I'm playing Asphalt 8 on my s3 while connecting to my tv. Hahah you should try it.

(in performance and imp... moreMy opinion, after more than a month with the BTU firmware (MK6 build), it's quite good, the games I played earlier like Asphalt 8 & Fifa 14 on 4.1.2, were much smoother in 4.3. Battery backup got no improvement, it's the same as 4.1.2. I do heard some negative reviews, and I respect whatever they typed, but this is my own experience with the new 4.3. :-)
I just successful rooted my S3 in 3 minutes. Then I flashed custom rom Cyanogenmod 11 4.4.2 kitkat on it. So far running smooth, stable, and battery saving. You all can try this rom. To whom to know on how to root, I can guide you in wechat (stendet). Sharing is caring

I read your comments and I think that you don't know anything about samsung, so let that guy help others. If you don't know, admit it and just stop giving negative comments here.
Anyone here having problem between these 2 version, 4.3 and 4.1.2, I will try to help but with only what I'm capable of. I don't know everything but I would try. Looks like somebody here didn't get a clue on the steps of rolling back to 4.1.2 from 4.3 that I typed earlier using my own experience, he couldn't argue with any of those steps so he just typed a 'saying'??

I did backup my efs folder and rolled back to 4.1.2 by rooting first. I rolled back just because to make sure wether I could. Now I'm happy using 4.3 Easy;
1. After root on 4.1.2, I installed EFS Pro. Opened it and turn on the root access.
2. I just copied the EFS folder to my SD card. Then I also made a 2nd copy on my pc. Then I flashed 4.3 via Odin.
3. On 4.3, I go to download mode and flashed back 4.1.2 MG4 firmware. After that, theres a problem with the factory mode display on screen caused by the efs folder corrupted.
4. I root, installed efs pro, turn on the root access and directly delete the efs folder. Then I replaced it with the efs folder I backed up earlier and restart.
5. Running on 4.1.2 with no problem, I use triangle away to reset binary count and reflash 4.3.
P/S: I didn't google this, I did it all myself :-)
