I read your comments and I think that you don't know anything about samsung, so let that guy help others. If you don't know, admit it and just stop giving negative comments here.
Anyone here having problem between these 2 version, 4.3 and 4.1.2, I will try to help but with only what I'm capable of. I don't know everything but I would try. Looks like somebody here didn't get a clue on the steps of rolling back to 4.1.2 from 4.3 that I typed earlier using my own experience, he couldn't argue with any of those steps so he just typed a 'saying'??

'When you find yourself in a hole, stop digging'.
I did backup my efs folder and rolled back to 4.1.2 by rooting first. I rolled back just because to make sure wether I could. Now I'm happy using 4.3 Easy;
1. After root on 4.1.2, I installed EFS Pro. Opened it and turn on the root access.
2. I just copied the EFS folder to my SD card. Then I also made a 2nd copy on my pc. Then I flashed 4.3 via Odin.
3. On 4.3, I go to download mode and flashed back 4.1.2 MG4 firmware. After that, theres a problem with the factory mode display on screen caused by the efs folder corrupted.
4. I root, installed efs pro, turn on the root access and directly delete the efs folder. Then I replaced it with the efs folder I backed up earlier and restart.
5. Running on 4.1.2 with no problem, I use triangle away to reset binary count and reflash 4.3.
P/S: I didn't google this, I did it all myself :-)

You learned about EFS backup; but ... more'Flashing v4.3 onto the phone rewrites the EFS folder into a format that v4.1.2 cannot read'- is that what you wrote earlier? Pfffftt!!! Hahahaha you are clearly the one who's buzy with google. Do you own a S3? Do you know of a MG4 firmware? Well, I did say that 4.3 got no problem for me. And I did say that 'if' anyone is having any problems, they could always go back to 4.1.2 (which according to you they can't). Hmm off course efs backup need root, did I say they don't need to root? Well users can always reset the count binary by triangle away, and then un-root by flashing with the MG4 firmware. And if anyone who face any problems here, I believe we should help them, not criticise them. I don't know everything, but I never typed anything by just assuming on something I'm not sure.

Oooh, you HAVE been busy on Google, haven't you. You learned about EFS backup; but I bet you've never done it, only read about it! Oh, and don't forget to tell users that you have to root their phone before they can do it. You seemed to have missed that part out. (Perhaps you didn't learn enough!).
Anyway, according to one of your earlier posts v4.3 is faultless, (despite all the complaints on this Forum about it), so why would anyone WANT to go back to v4.1.2? Make your mind up!

Connect your phone to pc via usb and there's an option to increase charging speed. That's one of many thing Mobogenie could do. :-)
Don't worry if you encountered something you dislike in 4.3. You can always revert back to 4.1.2. Just flash with the MG4 4.1.2 firmware. You can also revert to your previous fimware as long as you done your efs backup. :-)

The voltage on a PC usb port is not the same as a wall adapter. Why do you think some external hard drive have to be plugged into a wall outlet if you think it can get full power from the USB port?

irfanifse, 17 Jan 2014I think u can go to recovery mode,reset/clear cache and reboot phone.@ irfanifse
I have forgotten more about the Galaxy S3 than you are ever likely to learn.
Read my post again!
Flashing v4.3 onto the phone rewrites the EFS folder into a format that v4.1.2 cannot read. The EFS folder is hidden from the user because it contains details like the IMEI number, modem, network settings etc. etc.
When I tried to reinstall v4.1.2 onto the phone the Firmware couldn't read the new format and therefore couldn't continue to do a full boot.
Flushing out the cache partition or doing a factory reset isn't going to make any difference because the phone still cannot read the EFS folder. The only alternative was to reflash the phone again with v4.3
You have obviously learned how to do a cache flush and a reset somewhere and think that makes you an expert because you are telling anyone with a problem to do that; it doesn't!
