It has 2gb ram. Everything is working fine so far. I don't know how much the battery life is. Bcuz I bought it with v4.3 updated. My battery lasts with moderate use without any data plan for a day. And if use wifi or 2g data it lasts a 8 to 10 hrs. I don't know whether it is normal or not.

I've tried most if not all of the major brands of SD cards, and the only ones that have both worked faultlessly and without read/write issues have been Samsung's own brand. It might just be a coincidence that Samsung SD cards work better in Samsung products.
Re: The v4.3 update. What country and which supplier? Before you rush to update your phone I can tell you from experience that it is a mess! The phone lags terribly on v4.3 and the battery leaks like a sieve. I've downloaded v4.1.2 and I'll flash my S3 back to that when I have time. v4.3 has nothing that you haven't already got on v4.1.2
my phone brightness is sometime increasing automatically even though it is not on auto brightness mode and and not even auto adjust of colour tone...what will be the reason can anyone tell me please..is anyone facing same thing...thanks in advance...

Just Google 'sandisk samsung s3 problem'. I did that and got 387,000 results. It is well documented.
Me Rude? You should learn what you are talking about before handing out bad advice!
To anyone else who is confused about this problem - stick to Class 6 SD cards. They are fast enough for this phone and you wont get any problems with them.
Dee™, 01 Jan 201464GB CLASS 10 with 45MB/S work fine with S3. @dee

irfanifse, 02 Jan 2014U can buy scandisk card to use in galaxy s3,but be sure its CLASS1O card.@ irfanifse
If you did a little research you would know that it is the Class 10 Sandisk cards that are causing the problems with the S3, so Anthony was correct. You obviously have very limited knowledge about it and should stop giving out poor advice!
Never buy any samsung device,
They never update their phone on time. They are still working to update Galaxy s3 to update 4.3 while, Nexus and other devices are working on 4.4.2 :D
1. Lots of RAM consumes don't know why ?
2. Updates :D :D, and by luck if you get update, it always comes with new bugs
3. S3 is high end device(they says) but when you open contacts it takes a years to open, samsung s3 is also known as samsung mobile freeze :D :D :D
4. High end device(:D) with cheap plastic body and silver frame is also plastic.... very cheap :( :(
5. Battery, if you have heavy use battery will stand upto 8 hrs(max)......... ;)
Go for Nexus / Moto x / LG G2 / iPhone Or even Micromax or Xolo for Indian consumer.

Azmil, 31 Dec 2013CWM is Clockwork Mode. To clear the cache and data, on unrooted device, it is called recovery ... moreS3 has default Recovery Mode check it out,I used to clear data/cache partition using that..!!
If we root our phone CWM changes to modified one in which we can install update.zip which is not available in stock Recover mode.
Anthony, 01 Jan 2014Don't buy the SanDisk brand to use in the SIII. The is a known issue between them. U can buy scandisk card to use in galaxy s3,but be sure its CLASS1O card.
