Rajkumar, 09 Nov 2013Hi friends, Kindly recommend which mobile is best 1. Samsung S3 2. Sony SP 3. Nokia Lum... moreWell, the Nokia 720 is maybe a little newer than the s3, but the s3 is a former top model, so it will still keep getting new updates and new software versions, and it is faster than the Nokia 720. but it really depends if you want windows phone or android? if I were you I would go for the s3 :)
Kindly recommend which mobile is best
1. Samsung S3
2. Sony SP
3. Nokia Lumia 720
Thanks in advance

No, v4.3 makes your problems worse. The battery drains even faster; and the KNOX app allows the NSA to track your phone wherever you go.
My s3 heats up plus the battery drains very quickly, if I update my software to 4.3 will it solve these issues?
I purchased a Samsung Galaxy SIII on 03/08/2013 IMEI No: 356633/05/831109 and have been having battery problems since the very begining. I complained at your service centre 0003376014-MOBILE TECHNOLOGY on 25.09.2013 (bill no. 4160190711), 07.10.2013 (bill no. 4160865410) and also today on 08.11.2013 with charging problem defect as description. Every time the phone is at the service center, data on the phone is lost. The service centre refused to generate a new bill no. for my complaint today saying it is repetitive problem. Even now my phone is at the service centre to identify the problem. It is very inconvenient to charge the phone again and again and I did not expect such a performance from a renowned company like Samsung. It has only been a month and half since purchase.
Please advise on which of these two smartphone I shoulf go for -Samsung Galaxy S3 vs Blackberry Z10. I'm really confused on which to buy right now. I need a phone for:
1. both office work and personal use
2. Support third party app
3. Good battery
4. Surfing Internet with esay and speed
5. view and edit PDF, power point, excel and Ms office word attached files with easy
6. full webpage display capability while browse
7. strong and quality design
Your response and advice would be so much appreciated.
NB. current Price: S G s3=N64,500 AND BB Z10=N54,500

You raised some goods points there, but it presents as many problems as it does cures. Take for instance an app like Chomp. You can spend ages configuring it to look the way you like and then an update comes along.
If you delete the old version first then your own theme can get lost as well if you didn't save it; but if you just install the update over the last version then you could be saving old files along with the new version but keep your theme.
It's a Catch 22 situation.
e.g. I have the paid version of Swiftkey on my phone and I received an update for it yesterday to v4.3 The total size of that app on my phone now is 41.19Mb; but is part of that 'old' files from a previous version?

After taking steps (without hard resting) to get my phone to a state that OTA or Kies would work again. My phone was moving sluggish in my opinion.
Is decided to the hard reset to quickly get rid of junk and used all-in-1 toolbox to reinstall only the apps I use.
When I tried to load touchpal contacts back into the notifications bar I notices the setting to do that was missing from version 184.108.40.206
Which is strange be cause I had touchpal loaded in the notifications bar before I did the reset.
It was also missing in the version you sent me. (I was still happy to get that version because it was all English.)
Anyway, I got a copy of 4.0.3 which had the option.
Turned it on, installed the version you gave over it as it was newer. And now I have what I want. (touchpal contacts accessible from the notifications bar, no home screen icon needed and the latest all English version, all it one.)
So I learned something….. When you install new versions on an app, without un-installing the old versions first. Some files from the old version do stay behind.
If that’s the way most people do it, a lot of crap is going to build up over time with every app update that is installed over the old version, without doing an un-install first. Which could explain the slow down some people are having
Next thing that happened was, after the reset I notice all new entry to my contacts & calendar for the past month was not backed-up to my Google account and I don’t know why. So I have to manually put them back, which is a problem for some phone #s.
