Anonymous, 03 May 2013Hey guys, It shows dat there is 50gb dropbox storage in da spec sheet. bt mine has only 2gb. w... moreYou have to install Dropbox in few more devices to gain 50GB storage. Then again, I found it useless because you don't get to have those storage forever! you got to pay for it at the end of 1 or 2 years. Google storage is much better, I think. I haven't try Google storage yet.

I forgot about that..and had thought sgs 3 could handle the gaming...thanks for the reminder. Closing def frees up ram....not so sure about the cached closing though...didnt seem to help. I cant belive ea and gameloft havent implemented the psp x box controllers as a standard thing for all their games. Shadowgun is one example where ea have...but too much of kids game for me imo.
After using waze for a grand total of just over 6 house (which uses H+ data and GPS full time.)
the zero lemon battery has reached 37%
Note: my screen up time is just short of 8 hours
And the phone has been on with it first change 19.5 house and counting.
(Active use of GPS is the most battery sucking thing you can do on a phone. )

When playing you need to Turn off power saving mode to get there full power.
You can also clear more RAM for the CPU and GPU to access by going to settings>applications manager> swipe to running> and close every thing you don’t need for the game.
Then tap on show cached processes and close everything you don’t need for the game.
Anything the system really needs will auto restart.
There is tweaking software but most likely you don’t have to go that far.
How to recognise original S3 among fakes?do it have any codes to identify it? If u r interested on me pls give me a reply
Anthony, 03 May 2013Just put a full wallet in the other pock as a counterbalance :)@Anthony&Freefaller™
You 2 should closer to each other for counter balance! lol
Freefaller™, 03 May 2013@ Dee™ Yes, but you walk with a limp.Just put a full wallet in the other pock as a counterbalance :)
Freefaller™, 02 May 2013@ Anthony & Dee™ I have had the 7000mAh battery for about 2 weeks now. When I first fit... morei would say mine is so far the decresent mhl that just arrived today. Totally faultless with its connection, and has a very long lead to the phone. It seemed to not connect with my extra hdmi extenstion for quite some time, but got there eventually. Anyway, the long enough cable easily suits me....without the dropping a connection as before. So far.
Anthony, 03 May 2013Un-installing apps frees up storage/ROM lag from lack of ROM happens when less than 10% is fr... more...thats makes sense, and explains the lag possibly. It could be the game obviously. I'll try and see if it improves..thanks.
Dee™, 03 May 2013Can it still fitted into jean pocket? @ Dee™
Yes, but you walk with a limp.
I've bought this phone for over a week. I have a problem with my clock widget, it will work properly when i keep playing game, listening to music or surfing internet but it always stop working when it's in sleep mode. I already made many tries like factory resetting, going to the customer service of Samsung for being fixed, but it's still the same. I don know y. Can u guy pls give some solution?
Dee™, 03 May 2013Can it still fitted into jean pocket? Yes it can. It's now as thick as a full wallet.

This phone has a 16gb ROM. you would have to have less than 1.6gb free to start seeing ROM lag.

Nothing is installed to RAM it's installed on ROM spa... morewell im not to sure....i've heard that apps/games can take up ram, and heard that having less ram can cause lags with games. But as far as i can see there are no apps running in the background...yet when i clear ram...something like 23 applications are closed. So i am under the impression (maybe falsely) that by moving some apps to sd, or deleting some would free up ram.

Ram is random access memory.
does anyone have any knowledge on ram management in sgs3. I have about 5 large data games and just got nfs most wanted (on sale). To sort out the lag i am going to move some of the games to the sd (via the file manager). "Apps to sd" wont allow the move...but i can move them with file manager, but they dont work till i move them back to the phone. Its probably a waste of time....it seems to me a
that all phones slow when the sd, or phone memory is close to full capacity.
