When playing you need to Turn off power saving mode to get there full power.
You can also clear more RAM for the CPU and GPU to access by going to settings>applications manager> swipe to running> and close every thing you don’t need for the game.
Then tap on show cached processes and close everything you don’t need for the game.
Anything the system really needs will auto restart.
There is tweaking software but most likely you don’t have to go that far.
How to recognise original S3 among fakes?do it have any codes to identify it? If u r interested on me pls give me a reply

Totally faultless with its connection, and has a very long lead to the phone. It seemed to not connect with my extra hdmi extenstion for quite some time, but got there eventually. Anyway, the long enough cable easily suits me....without the dropping a connection as before. So far.

Dee™, 03 May 2013Can it still fitted into jean pocket? @ Dee™
Yes, but you walk with a limp.
I've bought this phone for over a week. I have a problem with my clock widget, it will work properly when i keep playing game, listening to music or surfing internet but it always stop working when it's in sleep mode. I already made many tries like factory resetting, going to the customer service of Samsung for being fixed, but it's still the same. I don know y. Can u guy pls give some solution?
Dee™, 03 May 2013Can it still fitted into jean pocket? Yes it can. It's now as thick as a full wallet.

lag from lack of ROM happens when less than 10% is free
This phone has a 16gb ROM. you would have to have less than 1.6gb free to start seeing ROM lag.

But as far as i can see there are no apps running in the background...yet when i clear ram...something like 23 applications are closed. So i am under the impression (maybe falsely) that by moving some apps to sd, or deleting some would free up ram.

Ram is random access memory.
does anyone have any knowledge on ram management in sgs3. I have about 5 large data games and just got nfs most wanted (on sale). To sort out the lag i am going to move some of the games to the sd (via the file manager). "Apps to sd" wont allow the move...but i can move them with file manager, but they dont work till i move them back to the phone. Its probably a waste of time....it seems to me a
that all phones slow when the sd, or phone memory is close to full capacity.
Smartie, 01 May 2013Can I use this phone without the battery?i buy a new samsung galaxy s3 can anybody tell how can i use without battery
himazz, 02 May 2013Plz i need some one to help me understand something about the usb becuz i am really confusedd... moreOTG is a standard that not all android phones support. But the SIII supports it.
USB OTG means USB (O)n (T)he (G)o
It allows you to use ANY USB OTG cable to connect any device that is usb 2.0 plug and play compatible and are low powered.
Usb 2 drives
PS3 game pad
Rooting is NOT NEEDED
all you need is a usb on the go cable (not standard micro usb)
And a device that says it supports usb on the go in the spec's.
Will not work with usb3 items or items that need special drivers or items that need more power over the usb cable than the phone can supply.
It can be combined with the sampsung SIII hdmi cable. Allowing you to make a tv keyboard mouse combination

I have had the 7000mAh battery for about 2 weeks now. When I first fitted it in my phone I thought "Geez, it's like a house brick", but after using it for a time I can't imagine my phone without it. The phone now feels more solid, and it is actually more comfortable to hold than it was before. It's a lot thicker, but not so thick that I can't still slip it into my pocket easily. I know manufacturers are competing to produce the slimmest, lightest phone but they all feel so flimsy to hold. The S3 is tough, but it gives the impression that it will snap if you drop it. Not now, I've dropped it several times without wincing. Yes, the added weight is noticable, but then you are carrying the equivalent of 3½ normal batteries. The bonus is that the battery will last 3½ longer (my first charge lasted 9 days). I can best sum it up by stating "Yes, I could live without it, but I wouldn't want to". This battery has been one of my best purchases of late.
efaller™, 02 May 2013@ Anthony No, they just state that to cover themselves. When it's charged, it's charged, an... moreif your real geeky (like me) then you can read all about why lithium batteries have that protection at battery university.com. Personally i can't afford all this stuff easily, but the improvement to our life , and daughters is added by the samsung phones. Anyway, heat and overcharging damages the battery. It may last longer in uptime, but the battery life will seriously be damaged. That's why anker mention about best to keep batteries between 5% and 95%. The calibration ( charging 12hrs, or to 100%, and then fully discharge, then again charge to the max , and repeat 3 times this process) is so the battery readings show accurate, but the charging should (according to B.U) be fine without the charge, discharging x3 .

The two I was waiting for was the official car kit and the official wireless charging kit.
I hope Samsung promises was a small part of your reason, so you don’t get disappointed.
