does anyone have any knowledge on ram management in sgs3. I have about 5 large data games and just got nfs most wanted (on sale). To sort out the lag i am going to move some of the games to the sd (via the file manager). "Apps to sd" wont allow the move...but i can move them with file manager, but they dont work till i move them back to the phone. Its probably a waste of time....it seems to me a
that all phones slow when the sd, or phone memory is close to full capacity.

AnonD-141666, 02 May 2013Plz i need some one to help me understand something about the usb becuz i am really confusedd... moreOTG is a standard that not all android phones support. But the SIII supports it.
USB OTG means USB (O)n (T)he (G)o
It allows you to use ANY USB OTG cable to connect any device that is usb 2.0 plug and play compatible and are low powered.
Usb 2 drives
PS3 game pad
Rooting is NOT NEEDED
all you need is a usb on the go cable (not standard micro usb)
And a device that says it supports usb on the go in the spec's.
Will not work with usb3 items or items that need special drivers or items that need more power over the usb cable than the phone can supply.
It can be combined with the sampsung SIII hdmi cable. Allowing you to make a tv keyboard mouse combination

I have had the 7000mAh battery for about 2 weeks now. When I first fitted it in my phone I thought "Geez, it's like a house brick", but after using it for a time I can't imagine my phone without it. The phone now feels more solid, and it is actually more comfortable to hold than it was before. It's a lot thicker, but not so thick that I can't still slip it into my pocket easily. I know manufacturers are competing to produce the slimmest, lightest phone but they all feel so flimsy to hold. The S3 is tough, but it gives the impression that it will snap if you drop it. Not now, I've dropped it several times without wincing. Yes, the added weight is noticable, but then you are carrying the equivalent of 3½ normal batteries. The bonus is that the battery will last 3½ longer (my first charge lasted 9 days). I can best sum it up by stating "Yes, I could live without it, but I wouldn't want to". This battery has been one of my best purchases of late.

Personally i can't afford all this stuff easily, but the improvement to our life , and daughters is added by the samsung phones. Anyway, heat and overcharging damages the battery. It may last longer in uptime, but the battery life will seriously be damaged. That's why anker mention about best to keep batteries between 5% and 95%. The calibration ( charging 12hrs, or to 100%, and then fully discharge, then again charge to the max , and repeat 3 times this process) is so the battery readings show accurate, but the charging should (according to B.U) be fine without the charge, discharging x3 .

I would say the SII is a good buy.
When you become a seasoned user and know what your personal requirements in an android phone are, you could always upgrade then to your desired need and better tec.
My wife has the SII and has no complaints with its capabilities.
