If anyone uses this for gaming, online gaming etc, i would love to hear the performance. I guess i will find out when i buy one.
i'm thinking of making a purchase but cant really decide.
whether to go for iPhone 4s or S3.
i'm currently using sony neo L.
Me being an Apple fan boy, I wasn't too enthusiast receiving the SIII as a gift. But, I must admit I was a lot more impressed opening the SIII for the first time, compared to the iPhone 4 way back then. I think the SIII is really ugly on the outside, but I really doesn't matter once I turned the unit on.
Spyker, 01 Apr 2013What do I need to play a game on my tv with my S3? Anyone plz. i think this is the genuine samsung wirelsess allshare cast dongle (which has some lag on games)....ok for some games, and then the link in this link is for the hdmi cabled version. I would go for genuine samsung ones. I pasted just now to fast to remember if these are the genuine samsung ones i saved as a bookmark. Anyway it's what you are looking for.
i regularly play games on tv on my sgs 1, and would never go back to a phone for playing. Unforunatley the wireless dongles lag, see link below.... the other wired way seems like ok.

Spyker, 01 Apr 2013What do I need to play a game on my tv with my S3? Anyone plz. samsung galaxy s 3 mhl hdtv adapter from amazon etc. Go for the wired version as it doenst lag, unlike the unwired. You plug adapter into phones mhl out, and then plug the phones charger into the adapter to power the adapter and charge you phone at the same time. This then enable you to use hdmi cable to connect your device to any hd ready tv. I havent tried this personally but am choosing a phone for gaming in this way. If you reseaech enough then you will notice on amazon that some adapters have 2 usb connections, so that's the one for power and also another. Folks can plug a keyboard in, and in theory a psp, xbox controller could also be plugged in -- since those controllers work on some android games. This is all without root. Search up you tube as well...there are a few examples with sgs 2 and 3.
its good phone already
just beware of " Sudden Death " issue
and yes the screen to fragile .. device side body not safely enough
Buy yourself a Otterbox Defender cover , plenty of protection with it
please can someone tell me which uninstaller app is available in google store to help remove completely file and folder created by apps after uninstall. I noticed that after I uninstall apps, there are still some leftover files and folders. Now I want an app that can delete everything once I uninstall app.
hi guys. I'm thinking of getting this phone, but i will likely be using it to play multiplayer games online, and also on a tv. So it will have the game running, wifi active, and also the charger plugged in for the mhl/hdmi . From what i've read, i expect if i did all this the phone will go dead. Others get heat from just 2 out of the 3 power drainers above in use. Does anyone do this for like 2 hours of online gaming on a tv and still have a phone working? and is there another mhl hdtv adapter/cable that does not require the phone to have the charger plugged in. IOW the phone just connects with hdmi/mhl...and no charging/power source.
I've just bought this phone today. So far it's a very responsive device, worlds better than my previous phone (Motorola Razr Maxx). And it looks great in black.
Anthony, 30 Mar 2013Correct me if I'm wrong But didn't the i9500 get called octa-core because it had 2x4core CPU... moreWhen i speak about SD600 i mean snapdragon 600. I9505 use the SD600 chipset. The I9500 use the octa core exynos 5. The name is misleading, it's actually a dual quad core not an octa core. It's base on the big.Little technology from arm. 1 quad core A15 for heavy tash and 1 quad core A9 for battery efficiency. In theory you should get the best stamina on the current smartphone. The link that you showed me is for the i9505, because when I check the spec sheet on your link. The processor is clock at 1.9GHZ That's the I9505. Exynos 5 on the i9500 is the quad A15 cloak at 1.6 and is more powerful than the SD600 on I9505. The best part of exynos 5 is that it's come with power vr 544mp3 gpu. It's the best gpu that you can find on a smartphone.
