Iím using the polish 4.1.2 ROM I got from sammobile. I just got into the office so my wi-fi, bluetooth, mobile data, sound, power saving, sync, multi window, GPS and auto screen brightness are all on. Made 2 phone calls so far total 3 mins. read 4 emails and checked amazon and this web page. Skype,fb,viber and whats app is always running in the background.
I disconnected the phone at 5:13am this morning and 3h26m later it was down to 87%. battery temp is 28.0 degrees C voltage 4.105v. Iím turning off bluetooth now that Iím in the office but the rest will remain on. Ill take note of what I do today and let you know when the phone dies.
Using the fingers above that is an average drain of 3.79% per hour. I will use my phone more as the day goes along so that average will obviously not stay the same through out the day.
Note: when I installed 4.1.2 ROM, I cleared my cache partition then factory reset in that order twice before I rebooted the phone. Other than that I did nothing special. Just installed the apps I use and putting my custom settings for each one and set custom tones.
Question for youÖ
Are you using the original battery?
Are you using a case? If yes, what is the material and how thick is it? Does your cell service provider provide a strong signal?
don't worry. Sammy will soon solved your problems of frequent restarts and memory dead issues on this phone.

Some laptops have a specific port which is dedicated to charging however this still does not match the charging times obtained by using the wall socket

I have no problems at all with.34 on 4.1.2, but I did have problems with .20! I use Boat Browser and Dolphin Browser and Dolphin Browser mini, and I also sometimes use the stock browser, and have no problems with Flash in any of these browsers on 4.1.2! I can even use multiview and stream one movie in Boat Browser and another movie in Dolphin Browser att the same time, because it is possible to use any app in multiview, see the link in one of my earlier comments.
Anthony, 02 Jan 2013The point I was making is because the human user is not using it, don't mean its not being use... moreThanks but i really wonder how you manage to get 14 hours in one single charge.
I think if i remember correctly, i was able to get around 14 hours too before upgrade to Jelly Bean.
But now. It can barely last 8 hours with normal to low usage.
For example, i unpluged the charger this morning around 8.15am (100%). I listen to an hour of fm radio and one mp3 songs about 6 minutes. I browse web for about an hour. And now about 10.46am Singapore time, my battery just left 68%.
So about 30% in 3 hours+. At this rate, it will totally drain in about 6 hours+ more.
Is this my phone problem? I am not sure...
How it's possible ?
Battery endurance test is 43 hours on GSM... review,
but given 50 hours on specification list.
Is it not cheating ?
samsung tech agent , 03 Jan 2013no adobe pulled flash from all android devices once you update to any OS flashplayer will not work Yet I and many others are using it.
You see the link it's up to you to use it.
But it will not work with your iphone. Sorry only android users have the choice to get the flash player 126.96.36.199 from the XDA.
Yes freedom of choice means not all software you have to get from the play store.
