You can not replace WP8 and install "MeeGo"... on 920 and think you still can have "Pureview" on 920! Nokia only supports WP8 on 920 and only makes "Pureview", and Nokia Maps..., for WP8, not "MeeGo"..., on 920!

If you like to play your music on your S3 then get over to the Google Play store and look for the 'Idrod Music' app. It really is hilarious. I won't say any more, just try it.
I saw two three black dots in my display during start up
but only in darkness.
You predicted the future! 75% of smart phones shipped this year run android. Great insight man ;)

And it stores power on what seems to be a watch battery. To this day it still gives a reading of 100% charged and I never turn the keyboard off. And the only light it gets is from a 40Ē TV and/or a compact fluorescent and what ever ambient light that comes from the glass in the door. I donít expect a phone to run on a watch battery but hell look at the size of the back cover on this thing and the note II. Thatís good space for solar panels with a gorilla glass protective top.
15 year ago I could not get a quad core full size tower, now I have that power in my pocket.
2yesr ago I had to remember to charge me cordless keyboard. Now charging ducks and power cords is a think of the past.
So is it so bad to ask for a smartphone that dose solar charging with a user replaceable battery? Hell, over 20 years ago I had a glass calculator that was solar. you could see right through it without seeing the wires. So as far as I know they could have a layer within the huge screen of new smart phones as a transparent solar cells. They get the big money to make the things I want to buy. And thatís what I really want to see in a smartphone. Matter a fact, we have capacitive touch screens now. Some people never put there phones down. Make the entire phone capacitive and let it charge from your body LOL
Who is going to make it first? Who wants more of my money? LOL

You know what I like about you? You disagree with respect! You don't just talk shit and quit.
You have earned my respect!
Here it goes:
Overclocking on cellphones (at least on the S2 and S3) is much easyer than on Pc. Is much easyer to achieve stability, and depending on your chip, even with lower voltages than stock clocks, which is my case with the S3. But as we agree, cpu power isn't the problem on the S3.
So, I overclocked, got incredible benchmarks, underclocked to make the bathery last almost 5 days with good use daily, and none of this impacted on the performace. Why?
As I believe we also agree, the S3 1Gb of RAM is its bottleneck. Why on the S2 1Gb were enough? Samsung's touch wiz got hungrier (and cooler) with the S3.
I consider my use very heavy, speacially browsing. Part of my work consists of checking video reviews of games, to benchmark the reviews of the games we produce at my company. So I often open 4 to 5 videos at once, and I hate to open the cellphone version of them. I Know I'm pushing too hard, but as I said, I bought the powerfull S3 exactly with the intention of pushing too hard. Then, when the RAM is full, it crashes.
My overclock, stcock clock, underclock, whatever... it won't stop that from happening. So when the RAM gets full, the phone gets slow, using its power to free RAM, or when its not enough, it simply closes apps.
What I should do is try different ROMs and kernels to check their different RAM management.
I was crazy with the HTC Droid DNA, but its lack of expandable memory is a deal breaker for me. My partner who was to US for the black friday, almost bought one for me, but without a micro sd card slot, it's a no go.
Well, have a nice week!
Anthony, 28 Nov 2012I can wait. If I'm going to do the ROM change it will be in December when I'm on holidays and... moreOkay then :)
But if so we can't use any battery, adding that panel means you'll charge your phone most of the time and no battery can survive through it
