Well, battery isn't very durable. You can not install or watch Flash on web (*.swf). Connection to computer isn't very nice as well. Everything else is as said on these pages. I'm saying from experience. HTC for example, have some better features in software like very good flashlite, better said weather forecast which shows on Home screen every time You open mobile etc. Also, better connected to PC. But camera, games, Samsung features (Svoice...) = very good.
Very disappointed in this phone compared to my HTC One X. Can't synchronize music with playlists on this phone. Not even with Kies, doubletwist, or windows media.

and for the really important info its backed up in outlook and Google.
what takes the time is all the custom setting i make in every app I install. because i have not found a way to backup my settings and custom tomes in each app.
if i was happy with running apps with there default settings i could do the flash real fast.

There isn't anything on the update that you NEED, only what you would like. It's really just icing on the cake; you can live without them.
I have everything backed up on Google anyway, so after flashing Google restores contacts, apps etc. without asking. Saves me lots of time (considering the amount of times I've flashed that poor little thing).
The only apps I have to install myself are the... how shall I put it..... ones obtained from other sources? But they are all on a memory stick, and all I have to do is connect the stick to my phone via a OTG cable and the phone is back up and running in about 15 minutes.

I want to know the practicality of the new features, and any improvements to features we already have in 4.1.1.
Also dose the dialler can contacts load any faster? Because I think that is a downfall in 4.0.4 and 4.1.1.
A few of you guys in here are good at finding software so I'm putting it out there what I'm looking for.
In Windows mobile I had an app called Remote Control
The hub of my home entertainment centre is a mini tower PC, this app would allow me to control media centre and others from my HD2 anywhere in the house using the wifi network.
I'm looking for an app that can do the same in Android so there will be one less thing I still depend on my old HD2 for.
Below is the link to the app I'm using now on the HD2.

JWill97, 27 Nov 2012Looks nice, thanks! But is it good enough based on your testing?@ JWill97
v.4.1.2 is a mixed bag.
For instance, the multi view is nice, but I think it works better on a bigger screen i.e. Note 2, which it was designed for. If you have a browser on one screen and you try to type a URL for instance, you make a lot of mistakes because the keyboard is so TINY.
On the other hand, the new Gallery app is amazing compared to the previous versions. The view options are superb.
Page Buddy is nice, and very useful when you are playing music for instance, but I don't think it will be used much.
The notification bar option is very good. Now I display the options I want on the bar, and only the options I need.
Paper Artist is a gimmic. I won't be using that, nor Smart Rotation.
Anonymous, 06 May 2012This phone is not awsome, the only big different is the CPU and screen the rest is same as SG2... moreThis phone is awesome and it has so much differences than SGS2
i think u have just compared specification and making ur opinion. Now ready carefully
S3 and S2 both has same camera 8 MP but S3 camera has better sensor and it clicks picture greater plus wonderful low light sensitivity
Screen Resolution is wonderful then S2, Screen Color also more appropriate than S2.
Sound Quality: S2 has 5.1 Channel and it has 7.1 Channel
Bigger Screen is very impressive plus too much nice battery timing than S2
Phone Is too fast then S2 because of Quad Core.
Too Much Customization than S2, in term of setting, widgets, and so many new options has been introduced in GALAXY S3.
If u own previous S2 and u just use S3 for one whole day. you will be surprised to see this set is really so much change than S2.
I LOVE S3 and i just dont like S2, because i dint like S2 shape but i love S3 shape color and metallic body color pebble blue. its plastic but it feels very good in hand, so shinny body.

The biggest one is Death Rally i think at around 160mb. If you downloaded games like Wild Blood, Asphalt7 or something else, it's not the app that takes 1gb+ but it's the data files. And so far, I haven't found any way to move it to the SDCard

I'm a high school student and there are a lot of my friends using a lot of different phones (most of them don't have high end phones though), so I pretty much know what's good and what's not about some phones. And sometimes it based on my own experience if the OEMs make a show or something to promote their phones
