Any of you guys know the cause of WIFI keep on showing *Internet no... moreI have seen that before with people using personal hotspot devices. The WiFi connection is still good with the hotspot device but the device is in a area where it is not getting 4G internet.
I can't say for you but could your router be losing internet from time to time? (Bad service provider)?
Anthony, 27 Oct 2012That's when you're holding a box and you remove your hands. Google it. LOL!
@ Anthony & Freefall.
Any of you guys know the cause of WIFI keep on showing *Internet not available* after JB updated? The connection between my WIFI & S3 working fine but that annoying *Notification* is a pain!
Can you give your thoughts whether I should go for S3 or iP5?
karan, 26 Oct 2012what is dropbox can anyone tell me plzzzzzzzzzz ??????That's when you're holding a box and you remove your hands. Google it.
The BEST phone ever!Because of these phones ( SIII & Note II) have made every other brands sale down...if you didn't see that then you're obviously drowning with them!
karan, 26 Oct 2012what is dropbox can anyone tell me plzzzzzzzzzz ??????The same as iCloud storage unless you didn't know what iCloud is
If you have problem with big batterydrain after uograding to Jelly Bean because of the mediascanner, "Media", and if you are rooted, then I recommend the free app "Rescan Media ROOT", it can stop the media scanner and let you scan for new media manually!
dilbar, 26 Oct 2012When I browse there is a blue cube on page and the web page not open properly as compare to my... moreThat blue cube is where flash media should be.
You can get adobe flash player 220.127.116.11 from the XDA web site.
Once it is installed you will see your flash media instead of the blue cube.
karan, 26 Oct 2012what is dropbox can anyone tell me plzzzzzzzzzz ??????@ karan
There is a widget on your phone called 'Google Search'.
Use it, Google 'Dropbox'.
When I browse there is a blue cube on page and the web page not open properly as compare to my previous phone gs2.
What is the cause and what should I do to open page completly.
Fruitcake, 26 Oct 2012All Samsung Galaxy S3 owners please be careful about the Jelly Bean update being offered on th... moreLOL. For all you know he used Odin to put ICS back on your phone. Don’t think you would know the difference.
Fruitcake, 26 Oct 2012All Samsung Galaxy S3 owners please be careful about the Jelly Bean update being offered on th... moreThat’s what happens when you read instructions half way.
Most sites would tell you…. After flashing a ROM with Odin and getting a PASS message, the phone could get stuck at the booting animation.
you should boot into recovery mode. Then pick wipe data/Factory reset, and then choose reboot system now.
You paid £10 + transport to have a tech. do what you could have down your self if you had just read a little more.
Even if you got stuck when Odin is flashing, you can recover from that.
See the link below and read all the way to the end this time.
And next time you have a problem with your phone, ask a question in a forum first, before you waste money and time.
Fruitcake, 26 Oct 2012All Samsung Galaxy S3 owners please be careful about the Jelly Bean update being offered on th... moreLet me point out how incorrect Fruitcake's post is...
1) His poor command of the English language suggests that he is not a UK citizen as he claims to be. This is a very common mistake.
2) Using Odin is completely safe, and it only fails when an incompetant idiot who doesn't know what he is doing uses it.
I have used Odin on many, many occasions without any failures; and if you have to take your phone into a recognised Samsung dealer for reflashing then that is the program that is used.
3) Fruitcake's biggest mistake was in the last part of his post where he claims 'the Repair Man told me he had repaired loads of phones today as using Odin in not Very Safe'. That is not only very poor grammar but is also an obviously false statement and shows him up for the liar he is.
I flashed my phone with the UK Unbranded ROM last night, i9300XXDLJ4, and it has been running faultlessly all day today.
All Samsung Galaxy S3 owners please be careful about the Jelly Bean update being offered on the Internet,as there are loads offering it using Odin an this is not for U.k phones but for American ones, but you are not informed about this,i tried it an got it Jelly Bean then my Contacts an Messaging stopped functioning right, then day after my phone Froze with just the Samsung Logo on my Screen,i took my phone to a Repair Shop an had to have my phone Flashed an Ice Cream put back on it,an the Repair Man told me he had repaired loads of phones today as using Odin in not Very Safe,it cost me £10 to get my phone back running again thank god for that
