Who is your supplier? I ask because sometimes things are not what they seem. For example, in the UK, Virgin Mobile use the T-Mobile network, Tesco Mobile use O2 network, and Asda Mobile use Vodafone network; and carriers don't always make things clear.
S3 is a Best phone in the world ... & the battery problem is not only with S3 but with all large screen phones .. Am also owning sony ericcson xperia arc S and it is also having the same problem ... Infact it drinks more charge than S3 ... And ya brightness and wifi etc are the biggest killer of battery ...

The function are excellent, its the best phone ever, but Im not happy with the battery life, I wish it last longer, can't use for barely 6hrs.
If there is any way to increase the battery life plis suggest
All of you guys are NOOBS!
To save your battery life you can use ATK pro, or you can just go to SETTINGS > DEVELOPER OPTIONS > NO BACKGROUND PROCESSES. This must work my s3 can last for 2 days by just only texting. WHen im playing deadspace HD it lasts 4-5 hours. But its normal.
THINK BEFORE YOU BUY!

brynn, 21 Oct 2012I think my brain is not engaged and still not back up to speed with Android cause guess what..... moreYou do know you can make it thicker your self by buying the large extended battery.
Freedom of choice. We all don't want it thick and some don't want it thick all the time. your needs aren't everyone's own.
If Jellybean ups UI framerate to 60FPS then what is FPS now?? FPS is important for smoothness ans smoothness means no lag so it is important for consumer...Cant wait to try Jellybean out.
For all those (especialy Dee) who keep whining about when they are going to get JB on their phone I am enclosing a link that shows when it is arriving. The list is updated daily, so you can see your Country's status.

If you go to settings scroll to power saving well i have had that switched ON..If you actuallY tap on the setting it brings up a list of the power saver settings,,i did not know you could tap on these setting it just looks like you switcH it ON/OFF,,this should be made more clearer..I switched it off and run Quadrant and got up to 70 FPS which is more ;like it..
If you want your device at full power stuff that setting it cripples your device...WAYHEY thats more like it back up to speed now...The thing is fair enough it saves battery but no need to cripple the device that defeats the object of a powerfull smartfone in the first place....Make the smartfone thicker making it easier to hold and stick in a bigger battery then we all win..
Quadrant with power save on maximum FPS 40 but with it turned off it hits 70 FPS almost double performance..
Just Very Very Happy with my Samsung I9300 Galaxy SIII, and SII as well.

What did you do to test browser i am unfamiliar with browser testers,,thanks.....I can then check mine and see if something is making it run bit slow..
brynn, 21 Oct 2012My screen 100% so tommorrow will knock it down to 50%. What screen mode you using i am using ... moredude in the first 10 days of charging the battery gonna feel discharging fast , mine after 10 days or 12 the battery got better and better, by the way i use ipad2 and the s3 the s3 browser is faster another thing thats a big display 4.8" so if u gonna use it 100% full brightness sure will consume more battery. from my long experience with androids what kills the battery is the high brightness and mobile data kept constantly on , i solved it by using a car charger and while in work connecting via usb to charge to my laptop thats how i always have good battery backup hhhhhhhhh :)))) also try html5test from thw browser and check ur score mine is about 412 exceeding even desktop browsers , the bad thing is in gaming as the new need for speed asphalt7 it lasts for only 6hours,
