Re: Broken files..
1) How much RAM do you have on your PC?
2) When did you last defrag your Hard Drive?
If it's been a while since you last defragged it then you could be sprinkling the data from the ROM all over the place. The zip file expands from 793,193 Kb to 812,099,626
Anthony, 03 Oct 2012Lol. Dude, your pc just don't like flashing ROMs.
Did you disable the anti virus on your pc? ... moreyes yes and not at my mates anymore..
will go around to his place tomorrow and try doing the whole process (fw download/kies download/odin etc) on his pc.. if that doesnt work i'll have to live with it..
again, guys know or think we will still get the OTA jb release and i can just install it over the one i have now?
Anonymous, 03 Oct 2012ok so went to a mates, unzipped ok but when i tried flashing on my pc again same problemLol. Dude, your pc just don't like flashing ROMs.
Did you disable the anti virus on your pc?
Did you stop Kies from running when you were flashing Rom?
If you did all that I would say don't do it from your pc. Download fresh and install by your friend. Seeing that his system has no problem unzipin. The download you have now may already be corrupt

The simple answer is NO, it won't. It's like having a PC with Windows XP. If you install Windows 7 on it and turn your PC off then it will still be on Windows 7 the next time you boot it. The only way to get XP back on would be to format your hard drive and then reinstall XP.
It seems strange that you have spent all that time trying to install JB on your phone and now you seem to want to go backwards?

1. Open up the Galaxy S3 phone dialer
2. Then dial *#0011#
3. Look for the “ServiceMode” screen and press the left menu button
4. Select “WiFi”
5. You should see that the “WiFi Power Save Mode” button is “ON” – now put it on “OFF”
6. Your done! Just exit the menu, switch off your WiFi, then switch it back on again. If your router details are saved and automatically connects, get your Galaxy S3 to forget or delete the network information. Then reconnect, putting in all the required information.
