Wonder Boy !
gs3 is still consider No. 1 best smartpone by the world, even after the Fifth Months of its released in may 2012.
Seed, 03 Oct 2012will it kill you guys just to put some name instead Anonymous?Dude you could just look at the persons system ID. for e.g. you are "PWng"
most people here don't post from more than 1 system. I have 3 to my name.

Charging from a USB port on a PC that could take up to 4hours for a dead battery on a low powered port.
Anonymous, 02 Oct 2012Yeah saying device doesn't support software upgrading via kies@ Anonymous
I was curious about your post so I installed Kies on my old laptop. (I refuse to put that cr*p on my PC. It is even worse than iTunes, and that is BAD). Kies should carry a health warning stating - 'CAUTION - THIS PROGRAM CAN SERIOUSLY SCREW UP YOUR PC'.
Anyway, I installed Kies and connected my phone. Kies found it (a miracle in itself), and reported that 'This is the latest firmware', so obviously you can install any future updates through Kies at a later date.

Anonymous, 02 Oct 2012u think we will still get the jb update OTA ffrom our carrier even though its already installed? No you will not get carrier ROM updates as you no longer have the carrier ROM.
But if you have a ROM that can be updated by Kies you will get updates, but it will be for what ever region ROM you have on. Which is better than no updates at all.
Yes, change the ROM the same way as before. Or just follow the instruction on the web site.
