Anonymous, 16 Sep 2012lol u dont know BUT its terrible?? haha
I used to usually visit my dad's cellphone shop and he allowed me to test used cellular devices, such as the X7, but their were no galaxy S3 to do some tests. Customers usually complain about S3's battery life for being short and I don't think they are telling a lie for S3 has two major faults in terms of battery life:
1) a quad core chip
2) having android handling the multicore chip.
Android doesn't do a very good job with the multicores.
Plus I am not spawning random facts, I currently own
LG P920 3D and I need to recharge it every day if I heavily used it.

I usually visit my dad's cellular phone shop, he lets me test second handed (used) devices such as the x7, which I had concluded it's battery life, but their were no used galaxy S3 so I coudn't test it out, but most customers complain about it's battery life, and I don't blame them for S3 has two faults that forces it to use the battery in a ridiculous way:
2) A quad core chip running with android
Note: Android doesn't do a good job with the multi-core thing.

Ross, 16 Sep 2012I thought Samsung Galaxy S III comes with a 2GB of RAM?the US version does yes
the international version (the one your looking at now) is a quad core 1gb ram..
the US version is a dual core 2gb ram..
performance is pretty much identical

AnonD-32383, 16 Sep 2012Pls tell me only 1 thing about s3. i am so powerfull sms user. if i send daily 200 to 250... moreI don't know exactly but it's battery life is simply terrible, try symbian devices only on 2g. I once tried x7 and lasted two days downloading and using the internet for a total of approximately 16 hours, but I recommend to wait for nokia to give another update for belle is somewhat unstable.
According to CNet’s Andrew Hoyle, Samsung has confirmed that the flagship Galaxy S III will be receiving the update to Android 4.1 before the month of October is over. News Source http://www.careace.net/2012/09/12/android-4-1-jelly-bean-update-for-the-samsung-galaxy-s-iii-confirmed-for-october/
Just owned it for a few days. Very great phone from samsung and this is the 1st time moving to android os from symbian os. Feel amazing when using it. Except the design, other things on this phone is really amazing. I wish the design is same like S2 design.
Pls tell me only 1 thing about s3.
i am so powerfull sms user. if i send daily 200 to 250 sms
and receive same then how much battery life does galaxy s3 provide ?
pls reply to give me chance of thanks to you :)
Its the greatest Smartphone available in the market today,i never used it because i can't afford one.in my knowledge The latest Apple Iphone 5 is lacking in is features.what iphone 5 contain in it is already developed and released by samsung 4 months ago.i only like from apple is their Iphone's design its really cough my eye with is aluminium and stronger build and Their Retina Display technology but it's same as HD super AMOLED screen that S3 has.Iphone 5 is looks luxurious but you don't have so many plus feature in it.i really recomended S3 because its cheaper then I5 because its released 4months ago and still a head of Iphone 5.
SOO,APPLE ^ INC. you should include again the word 'COMPUTER' in your brand name to re-focus on the computer segment and Apple need to go back to build their Old LISA and Macintosh's. ^_^

[deleted post]How did you own a 4S for many years? It just came out last year. I think you mean the iPhone 4 which had bad reception, it's also pretty laggy with iOS5. No way you can compare the original iPhone 4 with the GS3, it's like comparing a Porsche to a Bugatti. The iPhone 4S is still a very smooth and a lag free device in general but we need to see how it would perform on iOS6 when that is released. As for the GS3 it's so much smoother with Jelly Bean featuring Project Butter. I think that both OS's are on par in terms of smoothness, it's just personal preference from now.
