AnonD-68008, 23 Aug 2012hey who said that this mobile is not having SD card facility.U can extend the memory wwith mic... moreWe talking about moving Apps to the memory card for when you run out of space on the internal memory and almost every other device with a memory card can do it but the S3 can't.
Is there anyone who could tell me, whats new in andriod 4.0.4 update in galaxy S3.
Excelleeennntttt phone but pls pls save your hard earned money because the phone as perfect and super smart as it is is also the most fragile.mine had a broken screen from a knee high fall despite being in a protective case.inquired about fixing it and discovered that the cost of replacing the screen is almost half the cost of the phone as they would have to change the whole lcd screen even though it's just the galass cover that's cracked.Guess i would have to keep using it with the crack as the touch screen still works. Also note that gimmicky features like smart stay, direct call and other motion based features are hit and miss and dont always work .All in all a great phone but poor quality build ...likely not meant to last.
AnonD-56991, 23 Aug 2012Anyone like me who spent £500 on this phone because they actually want to use the phone ... morefair enough dude, im speaking as a general user as most of us are, your obviously not

Anonymous, 23 Aug 2012a massively important feature is a slight exaggeration.. look it is a silly thing not to have... moreAnyone like me who spent £500 on this phone because they actually want to use the phone to it's maximum potential will find that 11gb internal and no option to move to external as a really serious problem, but I Rooted and used the Directory Bind App so managed to get it sorted after a serious f**k on, and actually the 32gb and 64gb aren't available to me here so have no choice but to have 16gb and bodge it up to fix things Samsung leave out.
can anyone,is there any official software update for sg3?i'm here in middle east thankyou.
AnonD-56991, 23 Aug 2012Sorry but that's the mentality iPhone owners are forced to have where Android owners have been... morea massively important feature is a slight exaggeration..
look it is a silly thing not to have but its surely not as u said a lack of a 'massively important' feature..
ive been on this thread for months and this is maybe the 3rd 4th time ive seen it been brought up
unfortunately samsung (not just samsung) seems to be following suit with apple and little by little trying to take control of consumer options
Anonymous, 23 Aug 20126 of the largest file size games u can think of yeah... doesnt sound that bad for a mobile pho... moreSorry but that's the mentality iPhone owners are forced to have where Android owners have been given the option to move Apps on all phones for a long time now and Samsung decided to remove a massively important feature with no warming or explanation.
AnonD-56991, 23 Aug 2012Actually you only have 11gb and games like Nova 3 use close to 2gb which means you can only fi... more6 of the largest file size games u can think of yeah... doesnt sound that bad for a mobile phone IMO..and thats if you only have the 16gb version
and u can just delete the ones youve finshed or r bored with and reinstall them later if u want.. dont see an issue
but if u knew u were gunna be using the thing mainly for large games prob shoulda got the 32/64 gb version huh
why does my led service light not turn off after i've checked the notification?
Anonymous, 23 Aug 2012Yeah true but that's a hell of alot of apps considered u have 16gb minimum to play with Actually you only have 11gb and games like Nova 3 use close to 2gb which means you can only fit 6 games like that in.
AnonD-56991, 23 Aug 2012I'm already using the leaked version of Jellybean and you still can't move Apps to external SD... moreYeah true but that's a hell of alot of apps considered u have 16gb minimum to play with
AnonD-67979, 23 Aug 2012Hey Thanks Parker...fo the info...bt other than root...i guesss thrs no solution rite...or els... moreI'm already using the leaked version of Jellybean and you still can't move Apps to external SD because it looks like Samsung have decided stupidly not to include it in S3, but there is still a tiny chance they include it in the proper Jellybean release in the next few weeks, but I highly doubt it.
S2, 23 Aug 2012Yes you can move the apps to my memcard. There an app called Apps2SD that will do it for you. ... moreSorry mate but it's impossible to move Apps to external SD on S3 because Samsung changed the file structure so the external SD is recognised as a separate device unlike usual ICS where it's just another folder accessed through the internal memory so now you can't move the App cache until it gets sorted.
