Yesterday I updated my S3 to the latest firmware I9300DDLF3. I've seen an improvement in performance. The Lag in the lock screen ripple effect has reduced a lot. Over all smoothness of the UI has improved a bit to. There is a nice upgrade in the camera with many more Effects added like Green Point(shows colour only in ojects that are green), Blue Point, Red & Yellow Point, Solarize, Posterize, etc. The Brightness n Colour option in the browser has been renamed "Colour" now. Will keep you guys updated if i find out anything else.
AnonD-41511, 15 Jul 2012I got S3 Pebble blue just 5 days before, and I'm using it in Power saving mode. I must say it... morei bought the s3 a week ago and i didnt seem to have any problems. i play realracing 2 for more than 2 hours and the battery only goes from 100 to 70 or 80 percent. and the wifi doesnt lower the battery much. and i never had wanted to put it in power save mode, coz the battery works totally fine. but ur rit about the ram its 700 sumthing. but dnt worry its not that much of a big case. and the phone might slow down sometimes but after u restart it, its gets faster again.
I got S3 Pebble blue just 5 days before, and I'm using it in Power saving mode.
I must say its below my expectations as its battery time is not good as I expect. If u play a game on S3 just for 40 minutes, it drops upto 10%.
If u switch on Wifi for the whole day, it drops the battery percentage badly. Furthermore, if u use GPS without power plugin, it is more problematic.
Moreover, It shows only 779MB of total RAM. I couldn't understand whats wrong with it.
Can someone help me to understand these problems? Thanx
Can any one please let me know how to sync this phone with Nokia N97
Anonymous, 15 Jul 2012sony is crap. their quadcore wont compete against samsungs quad core.. just like htc one xSony however is not crap. Htc is ok. And yes Samsung tops them, but Sony is still going good, just not making all the big guns
Guys, I own this phone for about a week. 1 thing I can say is this thing is so fast & fluid. There's some lag though especially when you use a heavy live wallpaper, and the camera is impressive with almost noise-free and a very natural colour. The browser is probably the best right now, yes there's a little bit lag when you're watching youtube in high resolution, but page rendering is still exellent. The gpu is another fantastic thing, I NEVER experienced a single lag while playing games. From a simple game like Chess/Spades/Angry Birds, to something like GTA 3/Max Payne/Shadowgun, it's all seems like an easy task for it. The screen isn't perfect, viewing angle isn't that perfect (colour changed when you reached 150+) but still great. Build quality is pretty good too, not as cheap as you might think

For your kind information Sony Xperia LT29i Hayabusa doesn't have any quad processor,it is Dual-core 1.5 GHz with Qualcomm MSM8960 Snapdragon chipset and Adreno 320 GPU..! think twice while you comment..!
