777, 03 Jun 2012Yeah, mobile smartphone manufacturers have ran out of revolutionary ideas and they r now just ... moreDude u r preety right about nokia's statistics... Symbian os needs less ram n processor to run it tgats y they hav less powered cpu n ram while android needs much power, cpu, gpu n ram to boost up that is y they need high end processor... Same wid its versions... ICS does not run smoothly on dual core phones though it runs good on dual core krait processors of snapdragon but doesnt mean all chipset of dual cores will run ics smoothly n coz of that they made a quad core phone which runs ics quite smoothly... Even exynos runs quite good on ics but it lags sometimes that z what i saw in my S2... Now i think u got it y u need a quad core phone... Nokia's windows phone's 8 all r cuming wid dual cores nw u will say y they need it but it z needed to run on the OS smoothly on the device...
Is it really worthy?
N whts dis scratch issue n hanging issue is it true??
Any1 owning s3 can plz do me a favor of replying?

Thanx in advance waiting for response!
777, 03 Jun 2012Tests prove that SG2 actually does better with it's battery than SG3 does with its. SG3 sucks ... moreWell there is no problem then you have just saved yourself A STACK OF MONEY..
The audio is superb in SGS3 back to Samsung Wave and SGS1 standards and better..Vocals are really glossy and sound alive is full of settings..It is so smooth its better than iphone ..Have ordered some cases as its a bit slippy in hands but have not dropped it yet.
They have managed to make the speaker really clear it throws the sound around even tho its just a direct speaker..I cant find any seperate cabinet to explain this surround effect.
Still setting this thing up.Have done a battery test and its very impressive,,been testing audio and superb and vibrant,,screen is pin sharp and bright,,it is very heavy on options/settings so taking a while to get used to..
I think Samsung have locked the phone to 60FPS again although its powering a higher pixel screen ,,it does not surpass the 60FPS mark on Quadrant which i get a score of 5437.
777, 03 Jun 2012Tests prove that SG2 actually does better with it's battery than SG3 does with its. SG3 sucks ... moreYou say no improvements over GS2?? I think you don't know what this is capable to do. Tell me, how many phones does have Eye Tracking? Tell me how many phones have 64 GB+memory card slot? Tell me how many phones have Direct Call? How many phones have Wireless Charging? How many phones have S Beam, or S Voice? Or Smart Alerts?
I like what Samsung is doing in the phone market bt changing the dual core 2 quad core sucks big tym..i'd rather go 4 a blackberry bold 9900 coz its better with both touch screen and a convenience of a QWERTY KEYBOARD which makes it fun using it and also enjoying the BIS(blackberry internet service) thing coz there's no need 4 recharging everyday...even the Blackberry OS 7 is way better than Android 4.0...i'm saying all this because I'm owning the Blackberry Bold 9900 and its awesome using it...sorry 2 the samsung galaxy S3 lovers..but it sucks big tym...sorry bt da truth hurts
as always (this is my second time to correct you guys while im browsing from Saudi Arabia, the first time was at 2009 concerning the BB curve 8520, thank god you fixed it)
today, next to disply type (in the GS3 specs) i read:
SUPER AMOLED !!!
in marketing terms it is called HD Super AMOLED -just like the galaxy note with significantly less brightness.
just go to wikipedia and type: amoled!!!
AnonD-8044, 03 Jun 2012Its the better audio chip for me plus better battery and LED notification. This thing is slim a... moreTests prove that SG2 actually does better with it's battery than SG3 does with its. SG3 sucks power like a sponge and for wat? nothing that u really need. That's my argument! I bet u imagined some really better gadget than wat Samsung gave us_a revolution, not an evolution. There is not 1 new feature over SG2 that really makes me wanna buy SG3. Some new thinking needs manufacturing. Not improvements on the already exhausted features we had in SG2.
I don't understand whats the need of "quard cores?".up to dual core processors are better.then? it's not a multi-tasking pc that it has got 4 cores to work out with.its a smartphone and only one user can work at a time.there is no need to waste money and time on this quard core technology...........its price is Rs.38000 if quard core is excluded to dual core it may become Rs.36000 to buy it which is optimal in buget.....
[deleted post]It is now available in KSA at Jarir and eXtra.
Check their sites my friend:

Yeah, mobile smartphone manufacturers have ran out of revolutionary ideas and they r now just employing evolutionary ones.Like really, what would make you jump the SG2 ship to board the new SG3 one for? Nothing majorly notable! Quad core vs Dual core? In reality and practical use, 1Ghz is enuff for mobile devices, even on single core . This is the principle Nokia have been employing. No need to add some absurdly extended hardware feature for theoretic purposes. Do it coz it aids the user notably
better. SG3 is just SG2 amplified in theory! You will never notice the differrence in practical use. Just the satisfaction of knowing in theory that the hardware you are cruising on under the hood is more expansive;not that you will ever notice the difference! This is business people, even the manufacturers kow that you do not need quad core, or some "super screen!" If you cannot come up with something new, improve the old_that's their motto. The things that need improvement are things like battery, better apps, durability or at best, a totally new feature.
AnonD-16471, 03 Jun 2012s3 uses the same Sony sensors that found in iPhone 4s.http://www.gsmarena.com/piccmp.php3?idType=3&idPhone1=4238&idPhone2=4212&idPhone3=4320
S III might be using "basically the same" sensor with Iphone 4S, but take closer look at the Photo compare tool. S III photos is absolutely sharper. And S III can shoot 3.3 p/s at no quality cost. S III full HD video is undebatable.
Is it me or also the rest of Singaporeans owning the Galaxy SIII doesn't have Polaris Office installed in their SIII? If such a phone selling at premium-price lacks a simple app for consumers, then I think it's not worth getting it.
Use link2sd app in market to transfer ur phone memory to sd card but phone should be rooted..... :)
Anonymous, 03 Jun 2012There is good few differences there too. Note just has big HD display already so it seems like... morewow! note 2? are u sure?
i love my note. I don't think i'll switch to s3. S3 has sleeker body but it do not support s-pen and s-apps.
Galaxy note is very distinctive for having that.
