SKB, 12 Jul 2014Agreed that i am being dramatic cause this is driving me crazy. Do you have the date of ava... moreI'm not "boasting about" any firmware, and I don't have a date because no one has a date. Check the sammobile firmwares page and you'll see many recent I9300 releases. It's just a matter of time until your phone gets an upgraded bug-fixed firmware. Who cares about 4.4? The features are useless and 4.3 is better and much less limited in general.
how come that this mobile won't get an kitkat update? it has 1gb of ram and better cpu than the lg's optimus l7 ii and l5 ii. .but the l7 ii and l5 ii are planed
to get kitkat at the end of july or early august. .now i know that samsung is the pooriest brand to provide an updates. .lol shame to you guys. .rest in peace samsung users!!
paadle, 11 Jul 2014Could u please explain regarding MicroSD and 4.4?Limitations in android 4.4 and after :
You cannot use any third party apps to store files in the memory card.
For example :
You cannot perform the following operations using the third party file managing apps like x-plore, es file manager etc :
> Copying / moving any file / folder from the phone memory to the memory card
> Creating, renaming or deleting any file or folder in the memory card.
> Copying, moving or renaming any file or folder within the memory card
You can only copy from the memory card to the phone memory.
> No third party apps (like app backup and restore, bookmarksb etc) can create their backup files anywhere in the memory card.
Do not believe the Samsung trolls here who will say that there is no such problem. Search in google if you want.

I also bought my SIII last year October and I hoped to keep it for at least 3 years. I bought this phone straight from the company and it cost me a fortune ($615). I bought SIII without going for a SIV cuz of the looks and the quality of the phone, as SIII was better than SIV because it had very small issues compared with SIV. But now I feel like all SIII users are left out, which is very sad. I will be holding onto this phone for awhile before going to another.
Anonymous, 12 Jul 2014I think u should go for moto G. The main advantage is the price with the specs offered.Don't make me laugh. Moto G is a mid-range quality phone, despite its newer and faster processors. The build sucks, the screen sucks, the sound sucks.

Hoe much hours does the battery of this phone last based on thenabove mentioned normal usage?.
I purchased Samsung i9300 galaxy S III and found excellent phone. I click 7 times on built number under about phone then it's developer option was enabled. I searched/google how to hide developer option from list but I could not found solution for this phone. Ultimately I hard reset my phone. So be careful if you want to enable developer option without any need.
