Is it possible to damage the battery of a s3 neo by shutting down all the apps in an effort to lengthen battery time between charges?

Guys, I have s3 Neo and it's so amazing even without those updates. If you read reviews of people on the inernet who updated their phone to those updates you're talking about, you'll see that even though it doesn't make that much difference, it can make it much worse. Lag, battery and charger problems, rebooting, camera issues... That are the consequences. Not trying to be mean here, but you already have an awesome(more than that) phone and I have to say, you are being a little bit needy. And, why would you take so much time to download them all??? I did that on my old phone, regretted it immediately. That phone became crap, you couldn't even go on the internet, like if you open Facebook, sometimes it blocks your phone, you have to turn it off and wait at least 5 days OR it won't open whatever you do. That didn't happen before those lame updates. And it was a good phone, it really was. And it was guaranteed, that it will last 4-5 years. That is a lot of time! My freinds have the same problem. My point is, s3 Neo is already such a good phone, why would you want to destroy it? I'm not saying that every update is bad, but please know your limits. You(your parents, friends...idk who)paid for it and you have to admit, it is NOT that cheap.
Anyways, the phone itself is very good. The camera is frickin' awesome. No lag and it has such a good screen. LED Flashlight, Gorilla Glass, really good reviews, what more to say? :D

Im afraid of the battery and the wifi signal of the moto g, but i 'm not sure about the s3 neo as the s3 because its an old model. S3 neo ram is 1.5 gb.

dont use ccleaner or batter booster apps.
reset ur cell coz 3rd party/corrupt apps may drain ur battery so dont use these type of apps. u'll get very less drain after reset.
