If so it will take another day or so to fully discharge before I can recharge. Normal recharging from when the battery is low takes about 1 hour or just a fraction more.

AFAIK, there is no discernible difference between the 2. But none will get future support.
For future support, you must get a krait or cortex a15 based SoC like note 3 neo, s4 and all snapdragon 600/800/801/805 phones.
Between moto G2 and C3, I'd go for moto G2 for future support. It's already on lollipop and has stock android which will be updated faster.
bought two of these phones for my two children as toys 6 months ago. They are still working fine
If I've to choose a device made from Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 MSM8926(like Sony C3) & Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 MSM8226(like Moto G2)..which one would be best for future point of view? Which SoC would have more future ahead?

How much time does it take for i9505 to charge from 0 to 100. Can you do this test and tell me.
I'm asking thus as exynos 5410 supports fast charging but snapdragon 600 doesn't. So how much difference it makes.
