Jason, 19 Sep 2013Can someone explain to me what 4G Network LTE (market dependent) means? is the SAMSUNG I9500 a... moreyes market dependent means there are several models of the smartphone and each one operates in a particular region ( one for USA/Canada, one for Europe, one for Middle east, and one for Asia). As you may know that there are different frequencies for each signal for 4G ranging from 800 to 2600 MHz. you have to check with the telephone operator in your country of which frequency they use so you buy a smartphone that operates the same frequency, otherwise it will not support the 4G technology.
I am using the phone since 3 weeks it is a great device, my previous phone was HTC One X was great , still have it samsung have more innovation I am using it in each step of my life it is really a smart phone

Aravind, 19 Sep 2013Hi Shubham, thank you for the detailed explanations on the features of S4. Hats off. However, ... moreI don't know about it exactly but most probably we won't get it as I read somewhere that there is a chip level problem in exynos 5410 which makes the chip to only execute cluster migration and hence core migration is not possible. But that news might not be true or Samsung may have locked it.
hence nothing can be said but if there is no defect, 5410 will be upgraded via a kernel update. so don't expect to get that but if we get it, it'll be great.
Hi Shubham, thank you for the detailed explanations on the features of S4. Hats off. However, I am curious to know whether the Exynos 5410 in S4 can be really upgraded to true Octa Core via Kernal update & does there a possibility that Samsung would roll that update to S4?
its a great built device.... I'm using it for about a month.... it simply feels great....
also I want to illustrate some major disadvantages of htc one which I forgot to tell you and the reasons I didn't buy it:
25 gb storage only
non removable battery
extremely hard to repair(ifixit gave it the lowest score in repairability 1/10 against 9/10 in s4). hence you will have to keep it in a case
aluminium is easy to scratch and dent
more heat than s4. 57.7 degrees when s4 was at 49.9 in same conditions
takes 4 hrs to charge against 1 hr 50 min of s4
ddr2 ram in htc one against ddr3 in s4
blinkfeed can't be removed and eats a lot of data and battery
