dear SAMSUNG, if u still did these mistakes (on your upcoming GALAXY NOTE 3), then i bet soon u will lose thousands of your recent customers, trust me.
1) didn't include a FM radio.
2) same boring design.
3) same boring color.
4) same heating issues.
5) same easily drained battery.
6) didn't include OIS (optical image stabilization) on the camera.
7) small internal memory (which is user accessible).
8) easily cracked screen.
9) CPU still below than 2 GHz.
10) still bad video recording (shown on S4 compared to theolder S3, S4 losses to S3).
and others (such as no major software improvements).
PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF THESE COMMON PROBLEMS...

AnonD-120168, 30 Aug 2013My gs4 was dropped from a height of 4 feet and surprisingly display was broken. What can i do nowHahaha you should buy 3310:/

There must be surely i9505 there as i9500 is much better than htc one. I live in IIT Bombay, india and my friends have z ultra, htc one, z and I have i9500. The display on z ultra is great but on z is the weakest . xperia z was bashed for the poor tft panel all sound the Internet. It had vertu low contrast, poor blacks ams worst vowing angles
all people have their own taste about screens. Someone likes vivid screen, someone likes natural. I think you are the natural type but than also htc one has much better displaythan xperia z. I personally like it on z ultra but z's screen is really pathetic.
also I believe:
s4 for pros, geeks and experts
htc one for Android first timers and who don't know much about smsrtphones
xperia z for outdoorish kind of people
z ultra for big screen
for a common man who knows not much about smartphones, htc one is to get. but for an advanced user which can handle the complex s4, it's simply the best( i9500).
by the way I didn't disgrace any brand and I love Sony( previous phone:xperia u). I love Sony more than Samsung.

Lumia 820(4.3") or
lumia 925, 1020(4.5"). Win phone OS use less battery than android, very fast,no lags,no hanging
scorpio, 30 Aug 2013Thanks for the detailed reply. You have really put the cat amomngst the pigeons. I know all si... moreI want to explain things in a simple way :
HTC One launched with 4.1 and got 4.2.x very recently.
GS4 on the other hand launched with 4.2.x.
Samsung always provided better and faster updates to the devices compared to HTC.
Finally , I want to speak about everyday usage :
-HTC One has wake up button is at TOP of the screen. So you must definitely use both hands to unlock the device EVERY TIME .You must reach to the top corner.
On GS4 , you can wake up device using wake up button on SIDE or center physical home button. This can easily be done with single hand.
Or you can wave on the GS4 screen to unlock as well.
-HTC One has a weird 2 button layout compared to GS4's 3 button layout at bottom.
-HTC One battery life < GS4 battery life.
Not to forget the fact that HTC One takes longer time to charge fully (it doesn't have latest technology to charge fast).
It takes like 3-4 hours to charge from 0%
-One doesn't have SD-slot for Media and also no removable battery. It also doesn't have removable back shell.
So if it gets scratched , you must live with it forever. If backside scratched on GS4 , you can always replace it with a new panel.
-Daylight performance and "details" are far better on GS4 camera while One is only good at low light.Daylight photos lack detail.
-Design of GS4 is more user friendly with nice smooth edges compared to One.Even heat is more on One due to metal body.
Both heat up but GS4 feels less heat due to plastic body.
shubham yadav, 30 Aug 2013atleast one person here knows something and just not trolls here writing all B.S. By the way,... moreWhat I expressed here was my honest and humble opinion according to my experiences, without bashing or disgracing for any brand. I havenít any BSc, MBA or PhD in technology. But I know functionally how each phone is performing. Thatís because my brother owns a phone store. Therefore I have the experience with almost every phone which available in the market right now.
Itís true that Xperia Z has the best display. Itís more natural and vibrant. Although its protection itís protection is not good as Gorilla Glass. Itís coming with the Shatter & Scratch Proof glass. Did you check the Xperia Z Ultra Triluminos display? Itís just fantastic. If you havnít Xperia Z to verify it, at least look at a display comparison between S4, HTC One and Xperia Z on YouTube. . Then you can verify the validity of my statement through your own eyes.
Anyway thank you for your time to read and feedback for my comment.
Have a nice weekend!
Google play store is not working on android phone in Bangladesh last couple of days. anybody who have any idea what is going on
AnonD-116479, 30 Aug 2013Before you are going to make your purchasing decision, may I give you a advice?
Please don'... moreatleast one person here knows something and just not trolls here writing all B.S. By the way, let me tell you one thing that I am not a fool and was not giving him technical specifications but the real life usage results. Really htc one is faster if you use s4 like a fool and don't configure it properly. but if you are an advanced user, you can configure phone settings, disable some apps and use it according to need. This all makes s4 lightening fast and it even beats htc one of my friend. also many people put excessive load on s4 by enabling all the features and this would definitely make it slow often leading to lags.
if you do me a favor, you can read 6 or 7 pages of this forum and you can verify my knowledge. see, I researched fore 2 months specifically for s4 vs htc one. which to choose and now I am happy that I made right choice 'for me' , I pretty much respect htc one but I think you are slightly mislead. xperia z had by far the worst display made by Sony. The panel quality is bullshit and black levels are pathetic.
also s4 has 2 versions out of which i9500 is really better and faster. It also had a better camera and audio.
please note one thing. It's an advice. Never trust other sites than gsmarena.com or cnet. They write bias and contain personal opinions rather than actual tests. gsmarena reviews are having scientific tests and hence they are quite reliable.
also for screen comparison, don't ever see a YouTube video as you will see it on a lcd monitor which will favour htc one. Go to a shop and check.
The screens is really a tough call but s4 takes it add you can change settings of screen( natural or oversaturated), also amoled have better blacks and very wide colour gamut and sunlight legibility. but both screens are great and hence are on par.
I am happy to have an intelligent interaction with you.
First, I'm a Nokia 5800 XpressMusic user 5 years ago till now and it's still performing great but I'd like to change it with an android phone with high end specifications but with a compact size or it can be used with only one hand and I'm afraid of Samsung Galaxy S4 to be very huge in my hand. Can anybody tell me how huge is it in one hand and if it's huge, is the mini version of it a good alternative phone or it has a bad battery life? Thanks in advance :)
