diana, 12 Jul 2013I am facing a problem with the battery...i need recharge it two times in one day...what solution??Hey.
Your battery might be draining fast because of the applications that keep running in the background. So whenever you wanna quit an app, use the back button instead of the home button. The back button closes the applications while the home key just minimises them. Many people have the habit of using the home key for closing apps and they sit and complain that their battery drains fast and the phone is shitty and stuff.
second, turn on power saving mode. it does not affect the perfomance of the phone while at the same time it conserves battery by closing all unwanted applications.
if u have a packet data connection, turn it off when you dont need it.(Another major reason why people complain about less battery life :/)
adjust the brightness. dont keep it too bright nor too dull.
try turning off the wifi, gps and bluetooth toggles in the notification bar.
that might help you solve your problem. :)
Hello guys im planning to get a s4 I9500 next month , but i will ask is there any problems with this version , there was any difference between vietnam made or korean or china.

Eisley, 14 Jul 2013Hello good S4 users. I'd like to ask a couple of question on it.
As looks like this is the b... morehey eisley, don't care about ram on a 2GB DDR3(s4 is only phone with DDR3 now HTC ONE and z being DDR2) RAM phone. you always have more than 800 MB+ free. after a fresh reboot i have 1.3-1.4GB free. so RAM is never a problem even after heaviest of use. after disabling many s apps like s link, samsung push etc, the free ram increases. so don' t worry about RAM.
the google play edition will have more than 1.2-1.4GB free RAM and it would be a waste of 2GB RAM as there is no way to utilise 2GB RAM. also you will loose all of the cool features of phone.
between HTC ONE and S4 it's a tough call. i can just give you an idea. read GSMARENA's comparison B/w both for detailed info:
HTC ONE advantages:
boomsound speakers(deeper sound than S4)
optical image stabilization and ZOE, better low light camera
smooother and sleeker UI(sense 5)
smaller footprint despite larger screen
5 inch brilliant super amoled screen with deep blacks
less charging time: 1hr 45min vs 4 hr on HTC ONE
more battery life.
SD card slot
significantly better camera with many great features and good UI
touchwiz is user friendly and you can do more with everything
more sensors(pedometer, hygroscope, baromter, temp. sensor etc.)
DDR3 ram and faster chipset
so i advise youto go with either S4 or htc one and not their google play editions as you will lose many cool features.
ADVISE: go with S4 if you can handle that plastic body. it has more advantages and better support through frequent updates.
Ron Pocketbiker, 13 Jul 2013s4 if your pocket is 'thick' enough. hehe!LOL! Note 2 is even thicker than S4, what are you talking about?
Hello good S4 users. I'd like to ask a couple of question on it.
As looks like this is the best option in my country (Peru) for an on-contract upgrade I'd like you to tell me:
1. How much RAM is available after a reboot? Both when you just bought it and after you personalized to your needs, please.
2. How many of the apps running after the reboot are from Samsung "bloatware" and how many are apps you want them running (i.e. Set CPU profiles, Email, Directory Bind, etc)?
3. How much RAM are using the heaviest ones of such apps?
4. If I decided to flash the Google Play version (stock Android) of the S4, would I loose the key cool features of it (i.e. Multiwindow, Eyetracking, etc)?
5. How much RAM is available after a reboot in a Google Play ROM version?
These seem to be my main concerns about the S4. I find it quite cool. I hope you guys can help me with these questions.
Thank you in advance.
Pd: The HTC ONE is also available for the upgrade. Any recommendations? Thanks!

You only have to buy one and use it if you want or need to storage more media (videos, movies, mp3, etc) also get it if you like playing Gameloft games like Modern Combat 4, etc which are quite heavy (almost 2GB of data). Otherwise you can live without it. But I'd advice you to get one. A Sandisk Class 10 microSD Card of 32 or 64GB will be the best you could buy.
I cant update my s4 again since the first auto update it keeps on telling me I have the latest update installed. Could it be because of formating my phone.
