AnonD-147650, 20 May 2013Hey, I need an assist please,I'm in need of a new phone and I recently checked out the Samsun... morepeople can be irritating sometimes no one can give u full details about any phone, that's why we have phone reviewers which are many on the internet.
AnonD-147650, 20 May 2013Hey, I need an assist please,I'm in need of a new phone and I recently checked out the Samsun... moreI have the xperia z and htc one both which I prefer over the Samsung 4 which I have tried. Both phones are amazing with cool features in each giving them their own identity. Both are beautifully built. I personally prefer the htc one a bit more because of the home page which you can choose a category and flip through ( a nice new feature in a phone only for htc one ) the feel of the phone, the crisp loud speakers which unfortunately xperia z has very very poor ones and the beats associated with htc. Again the difference in those two phones will come down to your own personnel preference but you will enjoy either one of those phones no matter which one you go for.
I need an assist please,I'm in need of a new phone and I recently checked out the Samsung galaxy S4,Sony Xperia Z and the HTC one.I've never used any phone of the above makers,I've been a Nokia and Blackberry user.I really liked the features of the Samsung galaxy S4 but the HTC one and Sony Xperia Z also have some cool features in them as well. Can anyone please assist me in which phone to buy by explaining me the advantages and disadvantages of each and other key details as well.

Is it a phone or a generator? Dat is rubbish. So I will always put off my phone then what happens when I make late night calls?
its a cool phone but i think it should have come handy cos u r making tablets instead of phones lately.
Causes of Overheating
Overheating can happen to any Android device and can be caused by several things:
Multi-tasking several apps such as games, browsing and music playback at the same time will definitely overheat the device.
Radio signals and wireless connectivity also contributes to the heat factor generated by the handset.
CPUs and GPU generates heat as well whenever a user launches graphic-oriented applications and high-powered requiring functions.
Room temperature also affects the handset. An air-conditioned room is likely to keep the phone on its right temperature but direct sunlight and scorching weather can cause the handset to overheat quickly.
Samsung has not yet released any new updates related to the overheating issues. So for now, owners of the Galaxy S4 should note some of these tips to avoid incinerating their device.
1. Place the device on a cool, dry surface to help it ventilate.
2. Avoid exposing the handset to direct sunlight.
3. Disable all wireless connectivity such Wi-Fi, Mobile Data, Bluetooth or GPS when not in use.
4. Monitor the room temperature where the device is located and keep it under control.
5. Use the device inside a well-ventilated area whenever playing games or using high-powered applications.
6. Turn the device off when you are asleep to give it some rest and time to cool off.

I'm using my phone "lightly" - means that I just turn it on with mobile internet switch on and left on my table. I can feel the phone starting heating - goes up to 50 degree Celsius.

If I'm using the phone to browsing internet, Facebook, whatsapp, wechat, gaming etc. the phone will become overheat.
From the first day I use the phone until today, the phone remain with the same problem - OVERHEAT.
I'll walk in to Samsung Service Centre by tomorrow to check the phone's problem.
I'm very unsatisfied with the values that I have paid off to buy a high-end smart phone yet receiving a problematic phone. I think not all SGS4 have this issue, and people who are unlucky like me may bought the DEFEAT product from Samsung (QC failed???)
Fcxkusamsung, 20 May 2013In those one and half hours, what exactly you did with your phone? What's your firmware version? I have the problem with overheating since the 1st day i bought it. I can confirm it is overheating when the internet is on without using it. If browsing internet, the temp goes higher and could be up to 50-60 degree celcius.
In 16GB model user available memory is 8.82GB.
So external memory card is must.
I'm going to buy a new phone.can anyone tell me btw s4 n note2which one is better?

today i used the phone heavily with and without phone cover for about half an hour,i can confirm that there is no heating issue in the phone.
for people who want the maximum screen brightness put the phone on auto mode and slide the brightness bar to +5.
for people who don't like the saturated colors of the s4 (LED & Plasma tv quality)they can simply use the movie screen mode or adobe mode(LCD tv quality).
accessing the camera from the lock screen will not make the phone restarts.
i think people who are claiming to have an over heat issue in there phones might have problems in the firmware or some patches of the phone might have hardware issues, but till now gsmarena and other famous phone reviewers did not mention any over heat issues.
the only thing that i didn't like in the s4 is missing the fm radio.
