Catalin, 07 Aug 2015Samsung Galaxy s4 made in vietnam original or no ?Original but the quality differs in all.
The S4 during the launch and the S4 available now.
John Elia, 04 Aug 2015Dears, I have Samsung galaxy s4 with only 3G support, but my other friend having the same ... moreThe s19500 does not have LTE. Only the s19505. They are identical to look at but are different.
S4 is amazing phone I like it's smooth touch, amoled display, amazing net speed, etc...

If you're brand concious, I guess except for htc only samsung is providing latest hardware... But Htc phones are pathetic, I had used a desire 820 before I switched to note 3 and trust me it heated like crazy... And after 2 months of heavy usage it had started lagging too... So, strongly hating htc and wouldn't recommend it to anyone...
Coming to sony, sony midrangers have very outdated hardware as of now ( xperia C3, T2 ultra, T3 with the same snapdragon 400)... You can have a look at the xperia Z1 but it also has some heating issues and again an outdated chipset ( snapdragon 800), else Z2 has terrible heating issues...
Coming to motorola, yes, Motorola is good, but not the best, the moto X 2nd gen would be just perfect if it had a microSD card slot... Motorola is still in the developing stage, it doesn't have service centre everywhere...
Coming to LG phones, LG is good, but again its accessories are not easily available...

Also, if you take it to the service centre or the local shop, throughly check everything before and after you get your mobile... I gave one of my phone for repairs and later found the speaker to he missing... I had to fight with him to get it repaired... He installed the speaker but that was, of low quality...
Shhzd amar, 04 Aug 2015If your phone is under warranty take it to the centre and ask them to reinstall the software..... moredear brother, my phone is out of warranty, I went to a repair shop near, expert tried for software but he couldn't, then he told me that it is IC problem and asked me to open phone and to repair it, that time I refused him because I was afraid that he can more damage my device, please suggest my should I go to service center or to repair from local repairing shop?
I bought S4 for my wife and we had to return it the very next day. Reason:
I booted it up, connected to WiFi and connected a charger. It immediately started downloading software update via WiFi (over 1 gb). And we browsed different menus, checking how things work and loving how fast it is. And then the problem appeared:
the device became so hot it was impossible to hold it in your hand without risk of getting a heat burn... or so it seemed. Not at boiling temperature, it was way above comfortable temperature... when only browsing menus or watching a youtube video! To stop it from exploding, I disconnected charger and stopped downloading. After it cooled down, we repeated the experiment, but device was still too hot to hold when watching a video. It became hot very fast.
After the software update was finished, I hoped to see the problem go away, but it didn't. Still so hot I was afraid it'd cause permanent damage to the device. So we returned it. I then tried to find a similar device in any shop, but most had the device out of stock on next day (price was too good) and one shop said the devices they had were being returned due to fault...
Its possible I got a faulty device. But make sure yours is OK if you decide to buy it. Just connect to internet and watch a youtube video. Or swipe through menus as fast as you can for a few minutes to see if it gets hot. My LG G2 never gets as hot as Samsung Galaxy S4 did. I seriously hope S5 or S6 (which we plan to get in the future) won't have this problem. Samsung is the last reasonable manufacturer who didn't succumb to 5.5-5.7 inch mania yet, to me those devices are too big to handle. 5.1 inch QHD is gorgeous, but S6 is very expensive as of now. And I hope to get S6 Active for myself in case it goes international - I don't like overly thin phones and would prefer a bigger battery and some sort of protection instead.
I did, I downloaded the firmware i wanted in Sammobile.com then flashed it via odin. But first wipe cache and factory reset to ensure success
AnonD-306407, 05 Aug 2015Has anyone downgraded their s4 from lollipop to kitkat?to Downgrade from Lollipop to kitkat u need both the firmwares of ur country.
1. full factory reset ur s4, wipe cache partition,
2. flash kitkat firmware via odin, after thet u will see ur IMEI null and no network,
3. now extract the 'Modem.bin' file from lollipop firmware of ur country
now select this file CSC in odin n flash. Done now u can see ur IMEI and there will be network in ur phone
