AnonD-105042, 08 Mar 2013This might not even have the octo core because of heat issues. And if it's not a plastic piece... moreThat's all you guys can say about this phone. This ugly shit phone is ahead of Sony, HTC, LG, (soon Apple) in sales others are not even mentioning. And leaving other companies in dust in sales. Also the S4 will be made of plastic if you didn't know.
Stop critisizing without knowing the final specifications. These are just rumours. The final featuers&specs will be announced on 14th March.
This might not even have the octo core because of heat issues. And if it's not a plastic piece of shit ugly phone like the s3, I might consider it.
i really cannot wait for this... just 6 days for the unpacked 2013 !!!! this is going to be the most perf phone eveeerrrrrr
boy oh boy, looks like HTC One will be having the same fate as One X.
Powerful CPU and ancient GPU. PowerVR SGX 544MP does not even support OpengGL ES 3.0.
AnonD-98288, 07 Mar 2013What does this "Quad-core 1.8 GHz Cortex-A15 & quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7" mean... moreThose cores will both work at the same time its octa which means one quad core processor of 1.7ghz and one quad processor of 1.2ghz, both working at the same time = beast of a phone
guys its octa core processor
quad core a15 quad core a7 means
the processor has 8 cores in total in which four are a15 chips and 4 are a7 chips
reason behind this combination is that a15 chips are very powerful and a7 chips are less so when you use your phone for general purpose like calling messaging the phone will use a7 chips which are less powerful in comparison to a15 and this will help you save battery and when your need power like in gaming or adobe photoshop editing the a15 chips will kick in and and make the task silky smooth ;)
As for the cpu's it uses Quad A15 for speed and Quad A7 for energy saving.
At least its suposed to be this way.
AnonD-34847, 07 Mar 2013Go get yourself a life and ask Sony or Apple to make a tablet out of iron or something like th... moreActually, polycarbonate IS a plastic. Yes, the HTC One X was from plastic! People should stop thinking plastic is bad. Yes there are many low quality plastic products in the Market, they have ruined the name of plastics. The possiblity's when making plastic products are immense and the possiblities are getting even more great in the future with new manufacturing processes.
There are some very HIGH QUALITY plastics, the HTC One X for example was made from polycarbonate. The thing about the One X is, they used a very nice and fine finish! That finish can change everything! I hope Samsung uses a Polycarbonate back again but with a more premium feeling finish, like on the One X.
AnonD-120617, 07 Mar 20131.8x4+1.2x4= 12GHZ !! Is That CPU In MobilePhone :D !??not like that it uses 4x A15 cores for big tasks such as gaming etc and uses the 4x A7 cores for small tasks such as music playback just to reduce power usage. so all 8 cores won't be working at a time but still i am sure that S4 will be awesome \m/
AnonD-80889, 07 Mar 2013Or , or , there are two version Of Galaxy S IV . One has Quad-core 1.8 GHz Cortex-A15 The O... moreIt's ARM's Big-Little architecture. You have four low-energy cores and four high-power ones. The CPU itself decides which ones will be active at any moment of time. So, if you're doing light tasks, you'll have one or two A7 cores active, and you'll use way less power than a single A15 core. As soon as you fire up a game or something that requires power, the A7s go off and the A15s get turned on, and you'll have the speed you need.
nid, 07 Mar 2013battery should be more than 3000 MAH........ very disappointing. You should wait till the announcement and then talk!
