I was having three I9505, and all of them was too much hot. If I compare this phone with S3, S3 doesn't heat.
It's really frustrating, how quickly S4 heat up.
I just got my S4 last friday when i purchase a postpaid plan from Globe and i find that the battery last only for a day or maybe less. The unit heats up easily. Is this normal? :(
I switched from Blackberry to GS4.
just remove the battery and you will find the serial number at the back of the phone
I got a s4 4g.but I can't select 4g network.there is only gsm n wcdma option.pls give me a solution for this.im using Sri Lanka dialog network.
Android phones looked better on paper, but still lagged behind the buttery-smooth iOS in real world use.
Same its battery life is pretty impressive for such a powerful phone. Really love it and have it for like a month plus and working as smooth as the day one. Thanks to Google and Samsung. You guys are best in your field.
I just switched from S3 to S4. Honestly, my first impression is that the screen is too big. I had a hard time handling the S3 with one hand, but doing so with the S4, seems almost impossible. I also think the flash isn't as strong. I remember the flashlight on the S3 and now, I am a little disappointed. Other then that, great phone, looks good, it's light and it's a good size. I'll update after a few more days of using it. P.S. It has that problem when scrolling on black screens, the display twitches and there is an orange hue on the text.
Hi guys i have the s4 i9505.
heres some tips. Based on own expirience!
I factory data reset my s4 then download again the software via wifi to make it faster coz its 300mb+. It may take some time but after reset and update . Heating will decrease and the memory display will not be 9g anymore you will see 16g. It wull be smoother and decrease lag.hope i helped you!:)
it's super fragile... anybody who is considering buying this should really weigh a 100 times... except only if money is not an issue on the part of the buyer....
mine got a broken lcd when it fell for about 2 feet from the ground... there were no signs of impact in the external case...
Frankinjo, 12 Jun 2013I m wondering, which one is better i9505 or i9500??? I saw here, 505 has some better internet... moreThe octa-core processor in the i9500 is a much more powerful processor but its also not very optimized so it more of a battery hog than the snapdragon processor in the i9505. If you want 4G and great battery life get the i9505. If you want an octa-core phone wait for the galaxy note 3, it will be highly optimized by then and will blow the current snapdragon processor away.
Been using my i9505 S4 for about a week now and so far i've been quite happy with it. Its nice and light and slim so it fits nicely into my pocket. Battery life has been excellent, i'm only a moderate user so i've been able to get around 2 days use out of it before i need to recharge. The screen is excellent, watching movies on it is a pleasure. I find the camera to only be average, nothing amazing, but it gets the job done. The speaker is fairly loud but not very clear and distorts easily. The phone itself is blazing fast and its speed has really impressed me. I dont play a lot of games but for everyday use it flows very nicely, i havent noticed any significant lag and have had no crashes yet. The only major issues i have is with the built in DAC and amp. I like to consider myself a bit of a novice audiofile and i find the internal DAC's sound quality below par. It'll do the job for the average joe but for anyone into audio you'll be disappointed. The internal amp also disappoints me with its lack of power and its inability to handle low impedance headphones. My pair of Sony XBA-3 in-ear headphones are unusable now and a lot of over/on-ear headphones i've tried dont sound that great or that loud. Thankfully regular IEM's like my Sennheiser CX-300's and B&W C5's sound ok and have good volume. Nitpicking aside, overall i find it a great phone and can highly recommend it.
I heard that the Singapore's S4 is this I9505. If you live in Asia, come to Singapore if you want the Qualcomm Snapdragon
