confious, 08 Apr 2013what the different between sgs4 i9505 and sgs4 i9500 ??I9500 use exynos octa-core but I9505 use snapdragon
Samsung galaxy S5 will undoubtedly be much better than the S4.
If you WANT a high-end smartphone, wait for the S5.
If you NEED a high-end smartphone, GRAB this one!!!
confious, 08 Apr 2013what the different between sgs4 i9505 and sgs4 i9500 ??the I9505 has better connection however its only quad core not octa
this is probably the US version
confious, 08 Apr 2013what the different between sgs4 i9505 and sgs4 i9500 ??The I9505 has one quadcore processor while the other one has two quad core processors.
confious, 08 Apr 2013what the different between sgs4 i9505 and sgs4 i9500 ??The difference is this :
Chipset : Qualcomm APQ8064T Snapdragon 600 on the i9505 - Exynos 5 Octa 5410 on the i9500
CPU: Quad-core 1.9 GHz Krait 300 on i9505 - Quad-core 1.6 GHz Cortex-A15 & quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7 on the i9500
GPU: Adreno 320 on i9505 - PowerVR SGX 544MP3 on the i9500
You can compare the two to see the differences.
confious, 08 Apr 2013what the different between sgs4 i9505 and sgs4 i9500 ??i9500 has that 2 quad core chips. A15 chips clocked at 1.6GHz for heavier tasks like gaming for example and the other quad core chips are clocked at 1.2GHz and they are A7 chips for light tasks like internet browsing for better battery life and they also call it the Exynos 5 variant or the Octa core version but technically they are just quad core coz not all 8 cores work together at the same time. The i9505 will have the Snapdragon 600 quad core chip from Qualcomm and that is compatible with all LTE bands I believe and the Exynos 5 is also LTE capable however it might not support all types of bands so maybe in some regions that have LTE if they do not have the bands compatible with the Octa core version then it will only be an HSPA device so I would rather go for the i9505 variant and besides it is very fast indeed! :)
I was thrilled to hear this was coming out but I'm sad they aren't taking cues from the Nexus and freeing the android platform. Also a bit, no, really disappointed in the video camera specs. Smaller field of view! WTF?! Will they update it to fix this?
Also, no FM radio, kinda weak if you ask me. And before you tell me to "buy a radio" I'm buying a device that should replace my laptop, pager, land line, compass, gps, thermometer, barometer, hydrometer, and my analog version of angry birds. Not trying to have
all this crap in my pocket. My guess is that the chipset has an FM receiver but they don't want to hype it because American carriers love to make your data rates soar by having you use them for music.
Overall, love the phone, loving the SGSIII now. If they can't fix the video, I'll pass.

QuAcK, 06 Apr 2013Interestingly stupid. S4 is easier to handle than the smaller One because of its design. I'm n... moreNo design can make a 5" screen comfortable to carry or handle.. a 5" is after all a 5"... :)
AnonD-12118, 03 Apr 2013Human are impossible creatures to please you know. Some will keep bitching about why there ar... moreseems you work for samsung as a 'best review writer' in websites.. use a bit of brain and see the miracle. :)
confious, 08 Apr 2013what the different between sgs4 i9505 and sgs4 i9500 ??CPU and Chipset is different. Samsung I9505 Galaxy S4 is better than Samsung I9500 Galaxy S4
So in love to my s3... waiting for the s4 to launch in phil... pls come earlier...
TeamAndy, 01 Apr 2013What should i go for upgrades in JUNE, Go for the Z or S4? I've got a Sony Erricson Arc atm!If you don't mind the screen colour saturation and the overall body curvature go for SGS4 - I9505 version.
Samsung has far more superior (and mature) software package to offer than Sony, wider entertainment support, plus the battery is replaceable.
The "octacore" specification of the SGS 4 ia a mere gimmick at this stage. In reality it is double quad cores an A15 clocked at 1.7GHz and an A9 clocked at 1.5GHz, and only one set of quad core will be working at a time. So, realistically even though there are physically 8 cores, the device will behave like a quad core one. The reason for this architecture brought by Samsung is to have a power saving half working on less intensive tasks.
The I9505 version is a Snapdragon 600 quad core device clocked at 1.9GHz using 28nm technology which has power end energy saving features embedded in its design, which basically defies the whole purpose of having the I9500 model at all.
So when choosing between quad core and octa core, you can safely go for the quad core. No point to go for the octa core at this point of time - maybe later when Samsung comes up with a way to make it real octa core.
While I have to admit, the plastic from my S2 does feel cheap but this thing sure can survive. I've chucked this thing left and right on accident while it slips out of my hand and no scratches or cracks to be found on it. I stopped using a case because i plan on replacing it with the S4 but im in no hurry to buy the s4. I just got the jelly bean update and my s2 has the durability of a nokia. I have seen too many cracked Apple mobile screens so I will always remain a Samsung mobile consumer.
Tha Man, 29 Mar 2013I do not ever put a case on my phone! Why buy a thing of beauty and then hide it in an ugly ca... moreYou obviously have no idea what you're talking about. I've had my Galaxy S 2 for three years now and it is built to endure anything. It fell down on the concrete more times than I can count and nothing happened except a few 0.5 mm dents on the side. I've accidentally poured liquid on it dozens of times and nothing happened to it. The plastic is awesome and I can't wait to get the S4
[deleted post]Didn't you realize that it's very easy to spot that you are using different nicknames to post "in agreement" comments but all are originating from the same encoded location that is visible to ALL of us?
You guys just don't get it. You can hate Samsung as much as you want, but the sales and profits speak for themselves.
Let's talk about quality. Since many are apparently Appal fanboys, we'll compare the i5 to the S3. These were reported issues and are easily researched, so troll somewhere else if you don't want to acknowledge the facts:
S3: -Problems with color matching on Blue handsets pre-production. Phones were not released to public
-Reports of some phones that wouldn't boot after several months of use.
i5: -Apple Maps debacle
-"Light Leaks" on some white models (manufact. issue)
-Battery draining/overheating issue (ios issue - happened before with i3)
-Some phones won't connect to Wi-Fi
- "Blue Haze" in bright light photos (didn't happen with i4s - direct comparisons available)
-Rattling inside some phones (manufact - battery not properly set)
- Date and time bug
- Some phones have screen flicker then screen freeze.
As far as cheap plastic, well, I don't hear users complaining about the baked enamel on the S3 being easily scratched like the aluminum on the i5.
At this point in time, Samsung clearly has a better understanding of the mobile phone market than Apple does. Apple could have gone with microUSB or the same connector, they didn't, coming up with another proprietary interface.
No memory card slot, no NFC, no removable battery. You may say big deal, but there are people that these things make a difference.
The sales figure and profits speaks for itself.
