Samsung Android Touch UI

This is a pretty bid deal for all the AT&T subscribers with Android phones out there. The Samsung Infuse 4G which is just about to hit the shelves will offer support for non-market Android apps. Up until now, AT&T has been reluctant to enable this feature on the devices in its Android lineup.

As you can see from the picture of our own testing unit, the highly coveted option is available.

It must also be pointed out that there is still over a week left before the sales of the Samsung Infuse 4G begin. This means that there is a slim chance that the retail version of the phone might not have this option available.

What do you think? Is access to non-market applications a must-have option on your Android device?

non market apps support IS a must have, and it should be left as an option for everyone and the company still has to totally support the phone. but it's too late to release infuse after all, after all the newly released huge phones by Samsung, HTC ...

this option message is ever present even in the galaxy s version here in hong kong! so appearing it in the Galaxy s 2 will most likely have it here too.
