Yes, this is not a bad starter smartphone, esp. considering Virgin's $25 plan is perfect for you.
I LOVED THE IDEA OF PUTTING THIS PHONE ON A PREPAID SERVICE! What more could some ask for? this phone comes packed with, 3.0 mega pixel camera/camcorder, android 2.1, gps navigation, google, 32gb of expandable memory, and pretty much anything you don't like is customizable, also you can stream youtube videos. all this for 99.99 on Sprint plus 2 year agreement, or 249.99 on virgin mobile with unlimited calling/web/text for 60.00 monthly or 300 talk mins/unlimited text/web for 25.00 monthly. beat that!
This is a neat little phone. It may not be the greatest invented but it suits my purposes. Not everyone wants to spend $500-$600 on a phone. Virgin mobile offers great service cheaper than the rest plus it is a touchscreen with droid. What more can you ask for? The screen freezes sometimes but so do iphones. This is a great phone. I don't know what cdma or the other initials you guys were talking about but I enjoy this phone. Worls great for me

I am a first time phone buyer and this would be my first phone (ima teen) and this seems like the ok phone for me. Am I right?
For the price this is a great little Android phone. A faster processor, Higher Res Screen and Camera would be nice, but that would have pushed the price up. Up to now this is the best prepaid phone that money can buy. Those who complain about this have more money than sense.
not good mobile
Not even sure Sprint offered this. This is a rebranded Samsung Moment without the AMOLED higher resolution screen. This or the Transform model was supposed to be the upgraded newest Moment (SPH-m900). The Moment is a decent 800MHz Android smartphone but can't compete with the newer 720p 1GHz ARMv7 processors (or above). If rooted these ARMv6 based phones will run Android v2.2 but can't support Adobe Flash Mobile. Look for AMOLED rather than this lower tft based phone if looking towards Samsung. And IMHO spend the extra to get a 1GHz or better CPU and 4G with 802.11n WiFi. These phones are CMDA because Sprint uses that for its 3G network.
i think that anyone that s in right state of mind should by this phone.the keybord is useless, there is a missplaced arows and space bar, the screen is to big for whvga and it has only 65k colors.
it's exactly what i've been waiting for...except for the major issue i have with it: it's friggin CDMA...wtf?!? way to go and cut out an entire market of consumers!
whats the internal Mem for this phone?
very bad mobile. ..
it's cdma!!! lol...
