I've also noticed that this phone is excruciatingly slow when navigating through the contents (at least photos) on the 2GB memory card. Also, I think when a memory card is installed, the default location for photos should be on the memory card, not the phone. I mean, why else would someone install a memory card?!

I tried to download some photos, which had been taken with a 5mp digicam, from my PC to the memory card to use as wallpaper. I can view the photos while the phone is still plugged in to the PC via USB, but when I tried to view the photos from the phone, the file wouldn't open, and a message pops up that says "Not Supported Content". My guess is the phone cannot read any file over a certain size. Am I correct?

da, 15 Jan 2009go to messages>settings>text messages>sending options then tick request delivery. it should work.Thanks....but i have tried this and still nothing and i have also tried ticking and unticking the reply path box above and still nowt!!!!

How do you change the font size of the text message? I only see font size for dialling settings. Please help. Thank you.

I've been using this phone for a few weeks now - and thought I would mention this - this mobile phone can BLOCK UNWANTED MOBILE NUMBERS from sending sms messages. It is accessed in the settings menu - message settings > sms > then option "2" block number. You can then enter a mobile phone number that you want to block from sending sms messages. I've had a problem of unwanted texts and had to change my regular mobile phone to this one - and so far it works! I just thought I would say something good about this phone!

Confused., 08 Jan 2009How can i get my pictures uploaded onto my laptop with the USB? It won't let me install it. ... moreIf your photos are on the phone memory - copy them to the memory card. Get a memory card reader - it's like a usb stick that you put the memory card into - then put that in the usb port of your laptop. - You won't need any drivers that way.

lesley, 07 Jan 2009hi i recenty put a file on this phone and when i tried to delete it, it would come up with ope... morehi,try to turn off your j700 then try to delet it.or try from another samsung mobile via bluetooth:browse your phone's files from the other mobile then select that file and press delet.i hope it will apear.

Hi, im thinking of buying a Samsung J700. But one thing im worrying about is the screen, for its only 60+K.. my current mobile has 256K... Is the screen actually good? I mean its big and all... but how about its resolution? And how do you find its cam and viddys? Clear enough? 10x.

hi i have just bought a pink samsung J700 and have found everything ok apart from...the wallpaper background keeps changing from the one i picked, can anyone tell me if this is a fault or if there is something i need to do t stop it changing?

option, then press options button and select edit and scroll down to voice call ringtone
