I installed Samsung Pc Studio 3 but I keep getting the remark "Communication with Connection Manager failed" and the program shuts down every time.
I got Vista and installed all updates.

hun there are no ringtones in this set..but you can change your ringtones by keeping a song's sound track on the ringtone..
for that you need to select s song and move it in your phone memory..and then go in options and select it as your ringtone!

jimmy, 01 Jan 2009can sum 1 help as iv just my girlfriend a j700 but keeps saying no memory but i just got a 2gb... morewen u take a picture you cant save it the memory card it saves automatically to your phone memory

to change yua date: settings>phone settings>time and date then on time zone updating change to either "prompt settings" or "manual setting" i tried that on mine and it worked.

Then switch Time Zone Updating to "Manual Only". After that you can scroll down to the "Date" line and change the values using the keypad.

hi i recenty put a file on this phone and when i tried to delete it, it would come up with open file even though i wasnt using it for anything. it would delte from viewing it but it wouldnt actually get delted. i put it on via the computer and i tried deleteing it from the computer but it still wouldnt actually delete it. it is really annoying me now and if anyway can tell me how to remove it please can you help me. it is a file created on paint. please any one help me

Can anyone tell me if it's possible to change the slide tone on the J700? I've looked through the menu but cnnot find the option.
My last samsung handset had about 4-5 different slide tone options.

Brilliant phone, cost me £50, Bargain!
only issue is that u can do other stuff whilst listening to music
good internet service on it!

I have one in pink.
I work at belcompany so I can see wich phone is sold most, and ik can hear oppinions from others.
I think it's a very good phone for his price.
Good screen, good sound,...
I only find it's has not much phonememory...
It sells very good!

I bought my phone from a local discount outlet for £28 & did not get a 'User Manual', but looking at the Samsung UK site none is supplied? Is this correct?
