Well, ive got 1 of these for my bday not too long ago 20 december and anyways its good looking but its memorys poor 10mb suppose you can buy an 2GB memory card but overall i..its good.....Trust me ive got 1 :)

am currently with o2 in a contract. haveing a lot of problems so looking for back up phone. actually ordered one of these. think its great looking and alot of people have them so must be reliable. good question down below from jen. does this phone have skins like sony ericsson phones have themes. how many diffrent skins does it have?? is it loud? and does it make noise when you slide it up and down?? shame about battery life. and what sort of head phones does it take?? the common ones like a mp3 player or samsung special ones with the strange fit bottoms?? please help would like some info thanks

it took me 2 days to get the bat cover off to put the bat in when i fisrt got it cant say much on the features yet as im still waiting for it to charge

alex, 19 Dec 2008hey...is it true that it plays only 128kb/s mp3? cuz the sound quality for those is a bit poor... moreI've played MP3 files that are 320kbs, as well as a few other bitrates, and they play fine. Mind you, one annoyance is that it can "forget" about files with more than 32 charactes in their name (including extension). Not a big problem if you edit the file names, but can be a hassle if you forget.

sush, 21 Dec 2008just gotthe phone butcan not open the battery cover. Any tideas pleaseI found that using rubber kitchen gloves and a bit of careful force helped slide the cover. I have to admit that I was about to chuck the phone out the window for the hassle it was giving me to take off the battery cover, but it came off in the end (just be a little less careful than you think you should be, because being too careful will mean you won't get it off).
Other than that gripe, I've found the phone to be quite good for the price. I've installed Opera Mini on it, so can now browse with something a bit more flexible than the browser that comes with the phone. I got it in September, and it hasn't crashed yet, BTW, so seems quite reliable (which is helpful, since I wouldn't want to have to take off the battery cover to remove the battery and sim card in order to overcome a severely crashed phone). Add a Micro SD card to give you more memory, then you're set.
So, yeah, it might have its faults and might not have all the bells and whistles, but for the price, it's a good phone and well worth buying.

Hi i might get this phone but i am not quite sure if i should. Some people say its rubbish but some say its great. Should I buy it?? and are there major problems with the buttons??

To save your sent messages.
Once you have keyed in the text DO NOT press OK. Instead press Options (left key). Then choose "Save and Send" (Option 2), then continue as usual. Pressing OK automatically gives Option 1 in any list.

About the nokia J700, how can i make it save my sent messages because it never does, even though its got a 'sent messages' folder and also an 'outbox' folder! i'm really confused! HELP!!!!! x
