This phone was good until 1 and half years. After that started getting many troubles like sound clarity and keypad problems, especially in the slide area. If you are thinking of a mobile for 1 year then it is good. Lost hopes on samsung company.

Lost network and poor network signal after 6 months. Today I'll throw it directly to garbage can (recycle).

This is a great phone. Low price, good performance and a lot features. Also a great baterry life, no matter how long u listen to music, the damn baterry stands :D

samsung j 700 is very nice phone and excellent performance i used it from 2 years!!!!!!!!this phone is awesome!!!!!!!go for it !!!!!it is a best value for money!!!!!!!!i love j700!!!!!!!!!

phone mine lost network after 8months usage. go it to samsung distribution center for repair and was ok. after two months, problem come again.

This is a good phone. Only thing that i don't like about it is a bit wobbly slide mechanism (though the sliding action itself is very good, without any grinding plastic to plastic) and a slight delay when sounds (ringing, SMS sound) are played, so you have to add few 10 milliseconds of silence in the beginning to compensate that. Default sounds work fine, any other user supplied (regardless of the format) has this delay problem.

samsung j 700 .is an best phone in 5k range. when it was comes in market i purchase . i use it from 8 month. but one day due to pick pocket i lost my phone at rourkela station. i am a communication engg .when i visit some site . i take pis in this ph. the pis quality was gr8. that set was looking very sexy,as of my GF.i miss it very much. now a days i use nokia e63,and micromax Q5,and a samsung curby.

This phone was, ok till 1yrears and six months............but after that, keypad, sound quality, and recption,, pathetic,, i donno why , samsung designed this phone....shame on them....my hard earned money is gone for a toss

This phone may last you a little more than 1 year, after that it might start giving some serious problems... the keypad may not work properly and sound will be be poor.

this is the worst phone i have ever owned, and i have owned plenty in the past 17 years. Battery life is very poor, reception is very bad, i'm with vodafone and other phones achieve much better signals with my sim. The bluetooth is not compatable with my car bluetooth system. Avoid at all costs

Really good/cheap phone. Purchased for $70CAD and it has great reception and battery life. The screen resolution is a bit low but you get what you pay for. Highly recommend
