Hi....
Someone please tell me that L-700 has smart search option in the phonebook which will find the name by clicking 2-3 begening digits of desired contact no. like sony ericcson w-910 or c-902.

I bought this phone after extensive search. It looked good value for the money. After purchasing it for Rs 10,000 PK I am very well disappointed.
1- Battery Life is shame ful for average use it does not lost more than 1 and half day. May be some fault in my phone?
2- No themes to install.
3- java games and application can not be installed using USB cable. But with some hacks it works!
4- Flash light can not be used as torch. You have to make movie for using flash light
5- signal reception is very weak compared to SE or nokia - very disaoppointing! perhaps this is one cause for fast battery depletion
and many more disadvantages......

ammm... can i ask about its features specificaly the SMS ..can i send messages in groups?how fast or how much time it will take to send those Sms in a group?

Used to hate samsung bt after buying this l700 my view on sumsung phones changed....i actually like this phne due to the feature it has like adjusting you page size when browsing the web....a feature that some phone dont have eg nokia. One problem though....why does sumsung choose ur themes...? Wheres the freedom of having to choose different themes and downloading them eg nokia nd sony erricson. My l700 Only has a white coloured theme and now i have to put on wallpapers that can match that white colour so black wallpapers are scratched out....nd black happens to be my favourite colou.

Gabby, 04 May 2009How can use the PDF? It says so... HELP! thx hi gabby....u just ve to copy a pdf ebook to ur phone and start reading....just make sure its less than 10 mb or preferably around 3 to 4 mb...or it wont load....

hi guys ....u can really read ebooks well on this phone.....there was another reader who put up these steps on how to use it as an ebook reader.....it really works.....a million thanks to him,,,,here are the steps as given by him:-
a)Change to font to Size 40.
b)Reduce the page margins on all sides to 0 (zero).
c)If the document is larger than 125 pages after font increase, then you need to save the remaining pages in another doc file. This is because the phone document viewer doesnt support viewing more than 637 pages per file. 125 pages in PC @ size 40 = 607 pages in phone.
d)Finally, save the file as .doc in 2000/2003 format. The doc viewer in phone doesnt support Office 2007 files.
Now, transfer the file to phone via bluetooth or data cable. Open the file and choose "Fit to --> Page Width from Options menu. Now, you can read without having to zoom in or scroll left and right. Just keep scrolling downwards to read on....happy reading....and thanks a million to the reader who put up this tip:)

bono, 04 May 2009What resolution do you use for mp4 file? At 320x240 the message is unsupported resolution . i used 176x144 for the resolution.

Anonymous, 04 May 2009hey its a cool phone...good features but it lacks some basic features like changing the theme ... moreyou can personalise ringtones and sms tones. go to settings > phone profiles. you can customize these profiles (normal, silent, driving etc.) by choosing options > edit. just explore on different tabs for ringtones and sms tones.

Great phone! I just got one last week. It can play music, view MS Office documents, PDF files and even movies which I converted to mp4.
