hmmm. im thinking of selling my samsung L700 and buy the sony ericsson P1i. what do you think guys?
I have this phone for a while. It's a nice one. I just have some problems with the text messages. The phone can store only 200 messages, while in the settings is announced to have space for 500 messages. Does anyone know what is the reason for this inaccuracy?
P.S. I also have a 2GB microSD card.

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Yes, you're able to use your mp3 tones for both the messages & incoming calls
Looks wise L700 scores very high. Performance is OK. Battery life is low. But I have got a unique problem. When I get a call and evenif the keypad is in locked mode, after I finish the call, the keypad goes into unlock mode. Did anybody face such problem with their piece? Kindly give me some suggestions.
well, i just bought this phone couple days ago, and i think this is such a nice phone, and i very like the body, cause it's made of metal or something...Great sound...
Great job samsung!
SGH-L700 overall comment: (1)indeed, reception/signal capability is weak compared to other units placed on same spot; (2) when you turn-off the keypad tone, the camera shooter tone also turns off. Quite disappointing; (3) When you open SMS, unable to check from the SMS read mode the phone number of the sender-more work to check numbers of the sender; (4) very short battery life. I have my brand new unit less than a month and now, at fully charged state can only last less than 2 days of normal daily use. other equivalent phones can last till 3 days and more; (5)limited customization of the media player, not exciting (6) in comparisson to Nokia 6300, I would rate this unit to be inferior in a number of respects
Hey buddies i got the phone a week ago, nice piece really, but how can i set my choice tone for messages???
can any one let me know??
Can someone tell me something.when playing mp3 on other phones, like most nokia phones, one sure can minimize and go back to the main page and the music keeps playing.I want to be sure that this Samsung L700 has got that feature as well, can one minimize and do other things on the menu?someone, plese let me know by posting a response right here.thanks
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970I would say L700 coz its body is metal firstly & the buttons are user friendly too. Unless you wish to have a much lighter phone the go for the SE, L700 cheaper if I'm not wrong. Just click compare below the read opinions to see the difference between the two
