obviously this phone is going up against nokia's highly succesfull 6500 slide which as far as here in the phillipine is concern is doing quite well so much so that some stores have run out stocks.
Too bad that it doesn't have wifi, im sooo looking for a replacement to my p910i right now, and i thought n78 was it, but its keypad sucks... guess i'll have to wait till september to see how the sony ericsson phones do..

what collor is balck???what is a collor?
perhaps if you're pointing out a typo, you should take care that you yourself dont make any.
These poeple thing it is nice must of not knowing nothing about phone or working for Samsung and close their eyes and say good thigns to not lose their job. This phone is total wat of engineering and production time. Samsung is jsut a follower in market they try to copy others. But they not copying fast enough too behind. Like someone said the copy N95 looking phone but except the N95 is much better looking an quality phoen with much more better feature such as wi-fi, camera and many other things.
As long as save them job showing to samsung HQ they doing new phones then can keep their job. I sell components to Samsung Mobile division in Korea I know. They follow Nokia not knowing Nokia is also getting behind in Market.
very very very good .
Better than N Series
Thank You SAMSUNG. You're The BESt
Hi everybody. I used a samsung phone long time ago and it was not bad by any means. Now I would like to know that which symbian phone brand produces best sound through headphones among Nokia, Samsung or SE . Can anyone tell me ? Thank you.
Why Samsung make a phone works and do everything instead of making all these phones in all alumenum pacakges does not do everything. Tierd seeing all these phones coming from Samsung fill out front page of gsmareana that do not do all functions phoen need to do. where is your wi-fi? if i need jsut a phone i buy a cheap Nokia phone for 30 dollars.
Pep, 28 May 2008Im happy the specs are good, and that you can play more files then only MP3 and AAC.
Since ... moreSymbian OS is a proprietary operating system, designed for mobile devices, with associated libraries, user interface frameworks and reference implementations of common tools, produced by Symbian Ltd. It is a descendant of Psion's EPOC and runs exclusively on ARM processors.
On June 24, 1998, Symbian Ltd. was formed as a partnership between Ericsson, Nokia, Motorola and Psion, to exploit the convergence between PDAs and mobile phones.
Symbian is currently owned by Nokia (47.9%), Ericsson (15.6%), Sony Ericsson (13.1%), Panasonic (10.5%), Siemens AG (8.4%) and Samsung (4.5%). Although BenQ acquired the mobile phone subsidiary of Siemens AG, the Siemens AG stake in Symbian did not pass to BenQ.
Is that enough???
No Wifi? a big letdown. No wifi makes it just another standard Symbian phone in terms of features, but at least it does look good.
